Mesmerizing 101dB Sound: Thumping beats and rousing melodies are delivered by a front-facing 5.25-inch woofer and 2-inch tweeter. A custom passive radiator that fills the entire back panel of the outdoor Bluetooth speaker fuels low frequencies. Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker with Room-Shaking Bass: Our exclusive BassUp technology uses a custom algorithm to conduct real-time analysis and instant bass intensification. Even outdoors, you feel the bass surge through your body. Fully Waterproof: Drop Trance outdoor Bluetooth speaker in the deep end or float in the pool—its completely waterproof, IPX7-rated casing keeps the internal components defended at all times. Beat-Driven Light Show: When the beats drop, our custom Party Light algorithm and independent DSP sync the LEDs to the beat. Choose from 5 light modes on the Soundcore app and watch them pulse, flow, and chase each other in harmony with the rhythm. Soundcore App: Choose from 3 party games to get the crowd hyped up. Swipe the screen on LightDJ to remix the LEDs or add sound effects by tapping. Indoor mode balances the sound, while Outdoor mode magnifies the bass for harder-hitting music.

This is not a small speaker, it’s about 8 pounds and it has a lot of power, but it’s easy to carry around with the handle. This speaker is loud enough to be outdoors and more than enough for indoor house parties. It works great when I used it at the backyard while having a barbecue party, oh it’s waterproof too, so I didn’t worry about it when it started to rain. I will definitely take it with me to the pool next summer. The lighting syncs with the music of your choice, I think it’s a really cool feature if you are a visual person. Over all the Soundcore App is a nice app with easy navigation. There are many features on the app that you can explore and I recommend downloading it. It has up to 18 hours of play time not plugged in. The bass is nice, the sound is great when on maximum. No distortion and muffled sound. I really like this speaker, i can see myself using it for indoor parties, outdoor barbecues, and special events. Everyone has been asking me where I got this speaker because they love it too, it’s not too big and not too small, it’s just right. I would recommend to anyone. This is a great speaker and you won’t regret it.

I tend to research things to death. Anker always has quality products regardless of what category they’re in. I bought a Soundcore flare first. It was really pretty good for what it was. I wanted something more though you know how guys are about toys. So I bought a Soundcore Mini Rave and it did the job. I liked it a lot and so did one of my so-called friends when I wasn’t looking. I paid $150 for the mini rave and it was gone. This speaker at time of my purchase had come down to $105 so I snatched it up. I have spent $325 on Anker Blue tooth speakers in the last 6 months. I have not been disappointed yet. I do hope I am finished but speakers for a while. There is the Rave out there yet to be heard. I think I can resist that for a couple of months anyway.

My only portable speakers were Bose Soundlink Minis. They are pretty much the reference standard for small Bluetooth speaker sound. I wanted something more suited for outdoors. But importantly I wanted stereo sound in a portable package. Most people only review stereo pairing bluetooth speakers as single units. This review focuses on the stereo capabilities. I wanted something that could get close to the Bose soundlink mini base response at lower volumes. I started with JBL Pulse 3s. They had the greatest light show features I have ever seen. But the stereo was very flaky. The entire implementation is proprietary and relies on a running app. The longest I ever got it to work was for 3 minutes. Also the low volume bass response was non-existent despite the reviews. Returning them I went for these Soundcore Trance speakers. First the sound. Decent low volume bass although not quite at the Bose level. Decent mids and highs. Very good when aimed at the listener. They will go loud but that is not how I use them. The light features are nowhere near what the JBL Pulse will do but it’s Ok. Where these things really shine is the stereo feature. Once they are initially paired they stay that way. It is standard TWS as far as I know and it works well. It gives verbal and visual clues as you turn them back on. It takes about 20 seconds to power them back on and for them to link to one another. There are other cool little features once they are paired in stereo mode. When you use the app to change the light show, both speakers change in sync. The JBL Pulse could not do that. When they are paired, if you turn off one, they both turn off. The only time I have ever had a problem is when I was playing music and messing around too much with the app. I think that overloads the processor and the stereo drops. So if you just get it set up and then play music, everything seems to work. The stereo field is very impressive. They produce an expansive sound field when positioned correctly and being cordless, that isn’t hard. It sounds like headphones except it is all around. They are a little big and heavy but the handle helps with that. For what they cost, I am pretty happy.

My 20 year wired Polk Audio Atrium outdoor speakers finally gave out after years of great sound. Decided to look for some new weatherproof Bluetooth speakers to replace them and ditch the wire. Bought one of these to try it out and, not bad.Bought another for TWS and WOW! 2 Soundcore’s produce at least four times as much great sound as the single speaker. (I know the math is fuzzy, but trust me on this one..)I use a pair of top quality bookshelf speakers with remote subwoofer for my main indoor stereo and TV speaker system which produces good clean sound and are just about the same size as the Trance speakers, but using the same cell phone Bluetooth source these Soundcore’s actually blow the indoor system away, even with the remote bass woofer. More sound at volume and better quality sound.Throw on some good tunes and prepare to rock out.

In my neighborhood, most of us have a mutual understanding. It’s totally cool to play your music outdoors, provided it isn’t so loud we can literally hear the bassline through our walls. Most of us follow that rule, myself included. But then we all got stuck at home and one guy couldn’t go to the gym anymore. So he decided he would do the next best thing and blast three Weeknd songs on repeat every day for several hours. Granted, there were probably some other songs in between, but the frequency of how often he played “Can’t Feel my Face” and all of The Weeknd’s other soft, boring, sterile songs was just so much, they’ve been permanently embedded into my subconscious. You see, unlike the rest of us who use little Bluetooth speakers whose sound barely travels the distance of our backyards, he would use an actual boombox setup. After nearly three months of this nonsense, I had enough. So I bought this monstrosity. To test it, during one of his sessions, I placed it outside, facing in his direction, put on some of the most obnoxious sounding trance I could find, and cranked it up. It took about two songs for him to give it up and go back inside. The method spread to the rest of the neighborhood. Now, when he comes out and plays his music too loudly, one of us will go outside and blast something we know is bound to kill his vibe. Nothing is as loud as this speaker, but it has gotten the job done. He’s no longer much of a nuisance anymore. Considering he’s the obvious type, I doubt he realizes the rest of us were retaliating against him and simply think we’re all a bunch of jerks. Whatever works, though.Oh, as for the speaker? Sounds great, lasts long, and the phone app is intuitive. Definitely worth the price!

Honestly, this is such a freaking good buy.Easy to use, downloading the app lets you control colors.THE BATTERY LIFE ROCKSCharging is a breeze and you can even use it while charging if you need to.I don’t do that but you can, also you won’t need to cause it charges so fast and last a good while.I have gotten it wet before no problem.I’m the type of bitch that likes to dance her ARSE off! The sound that pumps through this baby is LIT! You would think you are in a club. You can control the sound with the up and down but there is an indoor outdoor mode also :DIf that wasn’t enough when its low on battery it like goes into an energy-saving mode I feel like where it makes itself last as long as it can.Do it just get it already!

*UPDATE: 2.22.20*Anker sent me a replacement unit. I received a Soundcore Rave Mini and it exceeds all my expectations. Sound quality, build quality and overall craftsmanship are all well executed. Anker customer service is top notch. Many Anker/Soundcore products later, I’m very unimpressed with the Trance. The midrange and bottoms are just not there.I own the Model Zero and it has more low end than this unit does, which is physically twice as large. The sound quality is a mediocre at best. I feel like 2 Model Zero’s paired using TWS would sound better. The high notes have this hissing/cracking sound that aren’t pleasant at all.Might return, might give as a gift. Either way, a let down for sure.

I have seen all the reviews and even some of the bad ones…which is why I sometimes scratch my head thinking…”they must have gotten the worst bad luck ever!” My experience from start to finish, and expectations of this Bluetooth / Wireless system has been nothing short of exceptional! Construction is solid with the downside of the handle being a bit flimsy but good enough to relocate from one place to another. Sound is crisp with the bass bruising with depth. Great thing about getting all this? The Price! Yes…JBL is a great product but at a cost that’s so unreasonable. Bottom line…if you want something loud and want all your neighbors to hear it, then don’t purchase this product. But, if you like quality sound with deep bass, that your neighbors still may hear, then this is the product you want!

The reason I want a very loud speaker is for my daughter’s singing lesson. her piano teacher ask us to buy a set of singing system for her to practice singing. So instead of purchase a all-in-one Karaoke system, I went with the professional route to utilize my current speaker.turns out a microphone can not directly connect to any speaker. you need a mixer. and then if you need echo effect to make it sounds better you need a better mixer with effect capability. one thing lead to another. after 300 bucks later, I can finally make my small speaker play sounds from my Microphone.yet again, the speaker is not powerful to play the sound in a good effect level. So as last effort, I have to purchase a powerful speaker. and so I came to this speaker since it has its own battery and also support bluetooth.at last, the final effect is pretty good. and if my daughter gave up on singing, I can also have a pretty good back yard sound system as well.overall, this is a very good speaker fit exactly what I need

I love this speaker! I just ordered a second one last night so I can have surround sound. I did research online and looked through a lot of speakers before deciding to go with this one. The lights make it a lot of fun, but more importantly it sounds great! I wanted something that would really thump when I turned the bass up, and this speaker has not let me down. I left it on while working from home for 8 hours, and the battery was still at 2 out of 4 bars. My neighbor has two beagles that start yowling at least once an hour. It was preventing me from opening my windows on nice days. Now with this speaker when they start in with the hollering and carrying on, I just turn up the volume and I don’t hear anything except the music! This speaker gets LOUD. 5 STARS!
