I’ll start off with saying i have no hiss or anything coming through the earbuds while playing music and while the music is paused. The Hear ID is incredible. I strongly recommend setting it up. I was not expecting the bass to sound so good from a pair of earbuds. I went from the Beat wireless earbuds to these and i am extremely happy so far. It’s definitly important to play around with the different size tips and wings to find the best secure fit.So i only wear 1 earbud at a time while i’m driving around in the golf cart at work. This means that one of the downfalls is that, if you wear only 1 earbud, the single button goes to its 1 setting, which in my case is double click to go to the next song. You need both earbuds in to be able to take advantage of the minor button customization. Compared to the Powerbeats Pro, these Soundcore’s definitly have a flaw of only 1 button on each earbud so you can expect to use your phone for stuff like volume up etc. Other than the 1 flaw, i’d say for the price these are definitly worth it

I have Anker batteries and cables and they have proven to be excellent, so I was happy that they have an earbud line. The Liberty 2 was exactly what I was looking for, good fitment choices for the ear, reasonable price, and USB-C charging. So far, they sound excellent and the isolation is very good due to the selection of silicone attachments. Pairing with my phone and PC was effortless and connectivity has been excellent. I tried the custom EQ profiling with Hear ID in the Soundcore app and did not care for it. The process of testing is kind of silly… says to press when you hear sound, release when you don’t, but the sound pulses like Morse dashes and then bleeds straight into the next tone. Luckily, standard EQ seems fine with all the sounds of familiar music sounding like they should. Plays louder than my old Samsung Level U Pros as well which is excellent. With the Level U I had to put the volume at maximum… ALWAYS, but with the Liberty 2 it ends up at a modest 50-60%.The worse thing I can say about these at this point is the gloss finish on the case. It is absurdly slippery and gets slathered with finger prints. It needs to be Plasti-Dipped or scuffed with a Scotch Brite pad before I take it on a plane. Anker, if you’re listening, this needs to have a bead finish or soft-touch plastic texture. The gloss may be cool for photos, but it daily use it is atrocious.

Alrighty then.I wanted to wait almost a week before posting this review. I want to be as transparent as possible when doing this. After using these for a few days, I’ve noticed a few improvements over the Spirit Dot 2s that, sadly again?, I’ve had to return for the same dang reason and one reason alone: THEY DO NOT AUTO SHUT-OFF WHEN PLACED BACK IN THE CASE (c’mon Anker…it’s been over 4 months. I thought we were past this)!!While this was a major deal breaker, the comfort level, the sound and the ability to hold clear phone conversations were pretty good.Rant over. Now, on to the Liberty 2s.•The highs, the mids and lows…oh, my!The sound quality is exceptional not only in the highs and mids, the bass is definitely punchier and capable of massaging your eardrums (given the right settings) if you are a hip-hop head. Also, the accompanying app that comes with these earbuds gives it even more value, as you can create an almost limitless amount of audio adjustments with the presets and custom settings.•Noise suppressionFor what it’s worth, the clarity of phone calls on both ends are pretty good. I had no issues on my end and vice versa, even in slightly noisier environments. Nice.•Battery lifeI haven’t used both in my ears on a single run due to my job requirements for safety and awareness. However, I can attest to the 8+ hour single use while streaming, phone calls, etc. Works great for iOS, but optimized for Android devices.•The fitWhile the fit won’t compare to the “drop it in and forget it” slim profile of the Spirit Dot 2s, they do fit securely in the ears with an assortment of wing and ear gel tips. IMHO, I would’ve loved to see a mix of different size Comply Foam tips and would have no issue paying extra (provides even better noise isolation). While we’re on the subject, the case is what really sold me on this. While the case is on the slippery side, the ease at which I can access the earbuds is something I truly enjoy. I cannot say the same for the Spirit Dot 2s. Just saying.Although the fit is not for everyone, I would recommend these to anyone that loves enhanced audio and hassle-free operation…unlike the Spirit Dot 2s (sorry, Anker. I had to get one more in there ?).Okay, I’m done.

Great for the price. Don’t get the pro model. This model and the pro sound identical (at least to me). All you are paying for is $5 for the wireless charging pad and $45 for the “pro” and nicer looking box. Overall these are good. Anker also has the best warranty and customer service I have ever experienced. You can buy with confidencePros:- Good sound – I’d say 80% there to great. I had to use the EQ to give the mids and highs a bit of a bump using the ‘Electronic’ EQ setting. In my opinion they should sound like this out of the box without having to use the app.- Fit well and were comfortable.- Stayed in my ears really well. Better than any others that I tried.- Nice case design.Cons:- A bit on the pricey side.- Case is a bit bulky.

I bought these after the pandemic started in order to create a sound barrier between myself and my spouse while we work in the same room together day after day, since I could no longer blast my stereo while I work without disturbing her. I have been overall very pleased with these. First, the comfort of them is great. I tried some other models, including Soundcore’s Air 2 models and a Sony model. These are some of the most comfortable I’ve tried and I really appreciate the “Grip FIt” handle that wedges the buds into your ear more strongly. Others I’ve tried fell out of my ears whenever I bent over even slightly.Second, even though these are not noise cancelling, the fit of the buds isolates the ear sufficiently to block a significant amount of ambient noise when listening to music. I replaced a pair of Bose wired Soundsports with these and they do a much better job of sealing off my ear.I won’t profess to being an audiophile, but I do like the sound quality and the customizability with the phone app allows you to tweak it to your preferences. Perhaps a little heavy on the bass, but you can dial it back with the app if you desire. One issue I have is that the stated 8 hours listening on a single charge is exaggerated. What I have found in my listening is I can get 4 -6 hours before the main earbud runs out of juice. Since one of the buds acts as a receiver and transmitter, relaying signal to the second earbud, the one transmitting runs out of charge long before the second. I find myself starting my day with two buds, then finishing with one. As claimed, they do recharge relatively quickly and after 15 minutes I can usually use the first one again, I just usually get caught up in my day and forget to grab it again. On another note, Soundcore’s support is excellent. My daughter had a pair of Air 2 that started crackling after a few months. I contacted support and they replaced them without any issue. Very responsive.Definitely recommend this product.

Phenomenal. I found these earbuds after trying some from Creative, Skullcandy, and cheaper brands. These are the best I’ve tried. I used Skullcandy wired earbuds for almost a decade and loved them, but the Skullcandy wireless buds didn’t work when I bought them and they didn’t fit my ears that well. I tried Creative Outlier, but two pairs of those broke on me, and the sound quality was a bit canned. I tried these, and the third time was the charm. Excellent sound quality, and it can be tailored to your liking with the Soundcore EQ app. Good bass, clear treble, and great noise cancellation. Phone call sound quality is decent as well. Not great, so I wouldn’t recommend these for heavy phone use, but they’re good for the occasional call you receive or make while listening to music.Very comfortable. They come with a ton of different sizes and shapes of earpieces, so you can find a good fit. They stick in my ear pretty well. The buttons are easy to press and can be customized, which is great.Connectivity is excellent. No problems with dropping (the Creative buds always cut out when I walked by a local NHL arena on my way to work) and they connect quickly as soon as I take them out of the case.Battery life is great, and the feature that gives you a two-hour charge in ten minutes is awesome. The one con is that Soundcore doesn’t provide replacement parts for sale individually. I left my charging case at the train station on my way to work one morning and had to buy a whole new set to replace it. I found a refurbished pair on eBay for $60, so if you buy these and lose one or the case, check third party sellers before buying a new pair. The only pro about replacing the case with a whole new set is that now I have backup earbuds if I ever lose one.Overall, these are amazing. I get excited about listening to music with them.EDIT: I have used them in the shower several times without issue, and I dropped one in the pool while working outside. It sank to the bottom of the first step. I grabbed it out, blew it off, and it worked fine. I let it dry for a while before using it again to be safe, but it still works great. Definitely glad they’re water-resistant!

Purchased around black Friday or so (November) and would only use at work or for workouts.*Average 16-20 hrs a week of usage. Never dropped them, the extra earbuds eventually felt snug after switching to my liking.**Around 3 months in I noticed trouble when talking on the phone, I could hear fine, but they couldn’t hear me at all. That was a bummer.***Around 4 months in, I noticed my right earbud wasn’t as loud as it use to be.****And now, 5-6 months in, can’t hear crap in the right earbud. Tried to check the HearID on the app. Left ear great, right is completely flat lined haha. Luckily I purchased the insurance for these.*****Would get again and hopefully these were a defective pair.******Battery life was great. 4 hrs into using them, I’d hear low battery, which gave me 30mins to a hr until it died and needed to charge them. 15-30 mins of charging on break or lunch gave me another 2-3 hrs. And I would forget to charge the case sometimes but could go a week without charging the case based on my total usage.*********Update June, 2021Replacement earbuds had same issue as first set. Warranty only covers replacements not refunds. Smh

I tried several different earbuds before settling on this one. I’m a fan of other Anker products I have bought and these earbuds are no exception. The buds have an excellent Award winning Industrial Design and understated aesthetic. The packaging is well done and similar to what you would expect from Apple. In addition with the ear buds you get an excellent charging storage case and a plethora of earbud tips and “wing” sizes which serve to lock the buds in place for a solid fit and enhanced bass response. When you receive the product I highly recommend that you play around with the various earbud and wing sizes to get a perfect fit. You might want to wear them a bit and then try another combination to find one that meets all your wearing conditions such as exercise. Also I found that due to the natural variation in human ear size I like a slightly different size combination in my left ear verses my right. Don’t be afraid to swap things around until you are happy. I find that even now I need to slightly twist and “relock” the fit after a bit of time or activity. Keeping the buds sealed tight and locked in greatly increases the quality of the bass response. I guarantee if you get a good fit these buds more than deliver on the bass. This is the driving factor for me returning other buds. They didn’t remotely approach the excellent bass response this pair has. Other buds I tried had capacity touch controls. These buds have small discrete buttons on each bud which are very simple to locate while wearing. The touch capacitive touch controls on other brands drove me crazy! Every time I accidentally touched my ear while exercising or just wiping off sweat I would initiate a random command to change songs, volume, and in one occasion place a random call to one of my contacts! The software that comes with these is quite nice too for dialing in the equalization to the type of music you listen to and your preference for bass response etc. There are dozens of choices for presets and total customization of the sound profile. Another feature I like is the ability to only wear one earbud and listen in mono. I often do this while walking with my wife or when I need to hear ambient sounds. The buds pair seamlessly. You simply remove either or both buds from the charging case and they immediately pair. The battery life is outstanding and I’ve never even come close to running out of battery power and once placed back into the case the buds automatically disconnect and start recharging. You get several charges from one full charge of the case itself. I don’t do a lot of calls but it is a simple tap to answer and incoming call and I have had no issues with clarity or dropped calls. In fact I “forgot my phone one day and started down the street and the Bluetooth connection to the music didn’t cut out until I was all the way down at the end of my drive which is amazing. Bottom line I don’t think you will find a better choice of earbuds for the price, with this design, customization, sound quality and feature set! I’m recommending these highly to all my family and friends.
