Very easy to install and setup. Works perfect. The way it actually detects and locks when the door is closed, and the fingerprint scanner are my reasons for buying over others. I would prefer a color choice, but black only is fine.Had it for 3 months now and am even happier with it now. Just one “glitch”….the auto lock locks, even with the door open, after 3 mintues. So it knows the door is open, but locks anyhow???? What’s the point of that???

Honestly, I was skeptical of a name that wasn’t Ring, ATT, or whatever other fancy security company that charges you an arm and a leg for when I started looking for security devices. But, by recommendation from a coworker who had outfitted nearly his entire Air BNB with Eufy. I figured I’d give it a try.I have never been so happy to step out of my comfort zone on something that offers protection for my family.I have five outdoor Eufy Pro2C cameras, the deadbolt lock (wifi, key, fingerprint, and touchpad), the doorbell (wifi, battery powered), an Indoor Tilt and Pan, the vacuum, four door sensors, a motion detector, and the keypad. You can say I’m a vested believer.I waited until after I’ve used the products for 4 months to leave a review, and honestly none of them disappointed. The lock is probably the most convenient of all of the eufy products. Do you have a friend coming over and they don’t have a key? Did you lock yourself out? Is someone coming to your house to check on your dogs? Are you sitting on your couch and too lazy to get up?This is your solution. I use my fingerprint primarily to unlock it, but I’ve given a code to friends, I’ve unlocked it from the couch, and they’ve even integrated it now so that I can unlock it when viewing the doorbell (thank you Eufy for that added feature). The only comment I have: there is a sweet spot for this thing to work. The door lock or latch and the strike plate for the deadbolt need to be aligned because the motor on the lock won’t close or FORCE close. Which is a good thing, you don’t want it damaging your door jam. But. It took a little while to get it perfect. It’ll say: “the door has failed to lock” which is good, but can be aggravating. Once you set it up, and find that sweet spot, it’s golden. Very easy to install, they provide all the hardware.Additionally, I have it set to lock 30 seconds after being used. So if I forget to lock it when I leave, or for the night, it’ll lock itself 30 seconds after it’s last use. I can’t begin to tell you how convenient that is.

I really like this lock. It recognizes my fingerprint in a split second. I don’t like having to fumble with keys, especially when my hands are full from holding large packages that I have to carry inside. I touch with any of the fingers that I’ve already programmed it to recognize, and voila!–door opens with ease. Eventhough the battery has not ever gone out yet, I feel comfort in knowing I can use a key as back up when needed. It comes with a very unique and one of the most secure looking key designs I’ve ever seen. I also like that the battery lasts a very long time and it’s rechargeable, which means I don’t have to feed it a bunch of disposable batteries. It is loaded with features, and I will be programming it soon to allow guests to enter on their own with either a code or through the app.Solid, convenient, secure, dependable. What more can one ask for…

Bought this to go with the other eufy products I’ve recently bought. Brand loyalty ibguess you can say but the reviews for all their items are always great so I had to leave one for the smart lock. The wifi incorporated onto the system is a plus. I started with the smart doorbell. I then added a camera. Now I have the home security system with a total of 4 cameras, smart doorbell, smart lock, and robo vac.Now the smart lock. The installation was simple. Maybe a 20 minute job if you had to modify your deadbolt hole (sorry not sure what it’s called) a bit. I was having to go a bit deeper in order for the dead bolt to open up completely to lock. I used a hammer and chisel but the process was simple. I like that you can unlock/lock thru your phone. Even set temporary passcodes. The one downside of it was that it comes with 5 keys strictly for the smart lock. So it gives me another key to add onto my key ring. I eventually bought a concealed key hider to set at my house JUST IN CASE the battery dies or my wifi goes down for some reason. I have yet to have either option but I wanted to be safe. It’s been about 2 months and the battery icon on the app shows 4 of 5 battery bars so it’s doing great. Guess it depends on your usage. I bought the black style to match my eufy smart doorbell but now I’m having to either paint or replace my front door knob to match (currently brushed nickel). Other than that, I really enjoy the peace of mind of knowing I can check the app to ensure it’s locked because I’m a forgetful person.

I love Eufy products!! I own multiple cameras & the wired doorbell already. I have been anxiously awaiting to receive the eufy Security Smart Lock Touch & Wi-Fi! This lock is the final piece to my eufy smart home security system (until they add to their ecosystem again). This is the newest lock available as it has WiFi built into the lock itself instead of relying on an added bridge. With so many smart home devices already I did NOT need another bridge/hub plugged into an outlet. This door lock provides exactly what I needed. The lock itself was ridiculously easy to install with the simple step by step instructions. I removed the old lock and had this one completely installed/set up within 30 minutes. Adding individual access codes & fingerprints was painless and easily changeable if necessary. The fingerprint reader works great! With multiple family members coming and going throughout the day the “auto lock” function is amazing! If the kids forget to lock the door behind them it can be set to automatically lock after a certain amount of time. I won’t be informing the kids of this feature though as I don’t want them to become reliant on it. Being able to schedule & lock/unlock the door with the easy to use app is great, but getting to use Alexa to lock the door is an added bonus if my phone isn’t around and I’m just feelingIt should also go without saying that this just looks downright awesome on a door. It’s sleek, modern, and a conversation starter once an invited guest crosses your threshold. I look forward to continue using this eufy product!!

Wanted something different and techy. Bought the Eufy doorbell cam based off of the reviews and overall appearance and features. Saw that they also offered this lock and was intrigued. Fingerprint scanner? Yes please. Plus it looks really slick and modern. It was really easy to install and setup using their video instructions. I set up a couple of fingerprints to work with it and the fingersprint scanner works great! It’s super fast and the lock opens very quietly. I had a ZWave lock previously that was very loud when it unlocked. Also the batteries didn’t last a very long time. I installed this lock about 6 months ago and the battery is still at about 75%. Love that it registers on the app right above the doorbell cam widget. Easy to control both devices. IMO I would highly recommend this lock. It’s been incredibly reliable.

Update 11/12/21:I had to contact eufy customer service for a replacement. The replacement arrived a couple days ago and it is working properly now. No issues so far. I will update the review if I do encounter any issues going forward.Update 10/28/21:This smart lock seems to have more issues as time passes by. Now it gets stuck when manually locking or unlocking. The gear inside seems to be the issue. I am still having issues with the smart lock not registering when the position is at lock. Recently it has started to go offline more often. I have contacted eufy and hopefully they can provide me with a replacement.Update 8/23/21:After troubleshooting and testing out the lock, i noticed that if I turn the dial to the lock position fast, it will not register as locked. It only happens when locking. If it’s in the lock position and it’s not registered through the app as “locked”, then I try to lock through the app, I get a “door jammed” notification. This probably can be fixed through a software update.Update 08/06/2021:For some reason it doesn’t detect when the door lock is turned to the lock position. Its more of a miss instead of hit or miss. Not sure if I received a defective unit. Battery has been good so far. Its about 60% after installing. I might contact customer service and see if others have experienced the same issue.Super simple to install. The only thing that took longer was charging the battery. Hopefully Eufy offers separate batteries to purchase. I would hate to take the battery out and charge it for 6 plus hours. Thats a lot of downtime for the door lock. Zero issues with the setup so far.

I am definitely in love with this! At first I was like this is TOOOOOO expensive. BUT , it’s a one time purchase for a product that gives you great results!!

So far I am very happy with this lock.I received this lock on September 6th. Make sure you take the battery out of the box and put it on the charger immediately as it will take a few hours to fully charge it.I installed the lock on September 10th and it was fast and simple. I had my old lock removed, this lock installed and programmed in less than 30 minutes. The fingerprint reader works really well and is the fastest way to lock and unlock the lock. It is quick and painless to program every users individual code and fingerprint. One of the main reasons I purchased the Eufy Smart Lock was because it has the Auto Lock Schedule. My kids don’t seem to understand that if you are the last person home you should lock the door. The “Smart” lock I was using did not allow me to Auto lock on a schedule. The Eufy lock does allow me to schedule the auto lock feature.Eufy claims that the battery will last a year and I’ve seen some other reviewers complaining that the battery went dead after just 3 weeks. I will update this review if I have that same issue. The one negative thing I can say is that there are no replacement batteries available. I was willing to buy a second battery so that I can always have on at full charge if the battery does not last as long as Eufy claims.I would recommend this lock. I purchased this one when the lock went on sale for $205 and if it goes on sale again I will purchase another one for my back door.

Hesitated for a long time to buy this, but so glad I did. We have a Eufy RoboVac and was happy with it, so thought I’d give this a try. VERY easy to install. For some reason the deadbolt was SLIGHTLY too big for the hole already in the door. It was the same size as the old one. Was able to ream it out a little, then all fit perfectly. The lock comes packaged with numbered boxes so you just grab out what you need as you get to each step. No trying to figure out what screws you need for that step, just open “step x” box, and all is there. I installed the lock while I charged the battery, and the hardware went in easy once I got the hole big enough. The software part was FLAWLESS. Once I put the battery in, I had it up and running in no time. The finger print reader works FAST. The door is unlocked by the time I reach down from the reader to the door knob. We also love that it locks from 1 second to 3 minutes after the door is shut. I have it set to 30 seconds and it works 100% of the time. I have a keyless entry on my car and wanted on for the house. Now I don’t have to have anything but the keyfob for the car. The code entry works fine as well, but the finger print reader is WAY faster and more convenient. VERY happy with this lock and will put Eufy at the top of choices for any future products they make that I might need/want.
