I first brought capsule on Prime-day 1, its awesome product, have no regrets and felt like mobile TV with excellent features. On PD day 2 i saw capsule II for good deal and brought it, undoubtedly its a Plus to capsule with amazing Picture Quality. In comparison to both, All i can say is they both are like 2 Brothers or Sisters, if you can afford hundred + dollars more go with Capsule II and you will feel the worth, else Capsule will never make you regret though.

Good picture quality 9 out of 10(720p). Projected on a white wall I was able to get a clear image over 100in. Small form factor easy to store or travel with. USB C fast charge is a huge benefit!!!!! This is the only small projector with Android Tv that offers this as far as I know. Battery lasts over two hours… longer if you use a external speaker. You can charge this unit with a portable battery. Android TV is as smooth as butter. Screen mirroring/casting works seamlessIy. Had no problem using an iPad pro also a iPhone 12pro Max. Using the AirPods Max is a bit of a pain because you have to pair them every-time, but once connected no issues. I purchased 256gb San disk ultra flash drive that is tiny. Allows you to leave it in semi permanently for additional media. Nova player in the google play store will give you movie artwork thumbnails and info about the movie as well the ability to download subtitles. Highly recommended media player. Netflix is a bit of a pain to navigate as it has to be side loaded. You can download amazon prime, Disney plus, and Hulu from the nebula manger. I went with the nebula capsule 2 case it was the most compact. Definitely on the expensive side $39 there are cheaper options. I went with a Joby 1k tripod (table top size supports 2lbs of weight)

1st day: Very happy so far with my first CAPSULE II. Setup is easy though it takes a while to get familiar with the menus. Auto focus and keystone work well. Bright enough to use during the day with shades down.Wish there was a horizontal perspective correction so that the project could be left on a night stand, for example, and still project a rectangle rather than a sideway trapezoid. That would make placement easier in a lot of situations. Also, as others have pointed out, Amazon Prime and Netflix integration need to be resolved ASAP.

When I was originally looking for a portable projector, there were a lot of options in the 200 dollar bracket but the issue was that for 200 a lot of the projects turned out to be pretty cheap. Inferior UI’s built onto the projectors, no Auto zoom, brightness is questionable.I decided to go with the Nebula Capsule 2. The Capsule 1 is a fine choice at the 299$ price point however the lack of features compared to the built in android tv for the Capsule 2 made it an easy buy for me. Yes.. it’s quite pricey but you can see that the plethora of features included in this package is well worth the price. Small size Factor, Android TV and a screw on the bottom of the capsule for a tripod. I use the Capsule 2 with the PS4 and Switch and i experienced no lagging. HDMI, USB C and Regular USB connections. Chromecast works with this device.. no need to for extra connectors.Cons — Definitely need to use your phone remote for netflix. It isn’t built into this device which sucks but there’s a backend way for you to use it. Sometimes the remote isn’t the most responsive. There are buttons on the top of the capsule 2.. often times the iconography can be quite confusing. Wish there was more space onboard for apps. Battery life is around 2 hours at max but i always have this project plugged in when i want to play video games.

I’ll update this review in full from computer at some point. But some quick pros and cons.Pros:- portable, small and compact- works in low lighting (think it’s sunny out but you have white, or grey curtains) albeit with reduced clarity and contrast- all types of screen mirroring functionally rooted or uprooted options are available but not “offically” supported- USB C this is a big one too me. Allows me to use solely USB based connectors. That’s important! All in one connector tech!- lasts 2-3hrs based on minimal usage while powered on (ie 1-2 movies on wifi, on no wifi and off external usb/USB C storage about 3hrs at best using mx player pro/vlc)Cons:-200ANSI is great for this kinda Pico projector, but needs to be greater I’m used to 1500-4500ANSI and able to use the projector in all sorts of lighting environments.- Gaming, reaction speeds are off by 0.3-0.5 seconds. In fps games or anything requiring fine tuned response times, this is important.-

I love this projector. Image quality is excellent for something so compact, brightness is more than adequate in moderate light, and the auto focus/vertical keystone correction is right on the money. The 720p native resolution is amazing given the physical size. The projection is quite wide angle, and pointed upward, it seems designed for tabletop use projecting above the body of the unit, a big plus when considering my previous (3m) pico projector. The fan is very quiet, you will not hear it over the sound of your video, and for presentations you won’t bother your audience.Sound quality is astonishingly good. Honestly, it gets uncomfortably loud. It’s a great bluetooth speaker in it’s own right.Oh, did I mention you can pair this with your bluetooth headphones? Because android TV is just regular old android, you can pretty much do anything you can do with an android phone, and the cpu is beefy enough to run several emulators smoothly.I use it on the nebula tripod, and it projects to approximately 100” at a distance of about 10’.

We want a portable projector that we can move around. Sometimes we use it downstair and sometimes upstair and even in the backyard. This is a very good size. I attach this to my camera stand and it works well. The picture quality is very good and clear. The sound quality from the internal speaker is very good indoor. My only complain is when using the Netflix, the speed is kind of slow and easily freezes. Other than that, we love it.

I really love my Nebula Capsule II. I have seen some negative reviews on here and don’t quite understand why people are rating it so low. Maybe I’m lucky because I haven’t had much issue with it other than the occasional disconnect from WIFI. It was very clear to me that when I bought the device that it would always need to run on WiFi and that the brightness wouldn’t be as good as other expensive models from Epson, Samsung, Optoma, or BenQ.With that said, the video quality is excellent, and yes you can only use it in a dark room, but that is what you’re paying for. My friend has the smaller and older model of the nebula capsule and there is a noticeable difference in video steaming quality and sound quality. Truly.I only use this projector in my 12 x 12 room and it works well. I have the projector set up approximately 11 feet from the wall and the quality is amazing. While I use the Nebula II in a limited capacity, it gets the job done. When I have the money I will definitely get an epson model that boasts 4K quality optics for the living room.I also see a lot of complaints about not having access to Netflix. While I agree, it also doesn’t cost much more to get a roku streaming stick —don’t most people have one these days? While I wish this projector could stream shows and movies without WiFi… it is what it is. I bought this thing after doing my research, knowing it’s pros and cons. I also think that the capsule could benefit from having a longer charging cord, but oh well.Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase and it made the pandemic a much more tolerable time. I give it 4.5 stars but rounding up to 5.I’ve included a video if y’all want to see the video quality. In real time!Edit 9/13/2021:The background noise is NOT the projector but a fan and air purifier (because CA is going up in flames and the air quality is bad). Also at the beginning of this video you will see a transition in clarity. This is because I had to adjust for the initial blurriness when shooting the video on my iPhone 11 in the dark. This video was shot in the late evening in my bedroom.

This is the best portable projector I have ever use! It’s a true Android TV projector, Google play store, Play movie, Chromecast, Google Assistant all work great. Some reviews mentioned there is no way to install Netflix and Prime video, here is how I solved the problem after contacted their support team: first, you get an App named NEBULA MANAGER via Play store, then install Netflix and Prime Video App included in the NEBULA MANAGER, and add the NEBULA MANAGER to your favorites and customize your channel. Voila! Both Netflix & Prime now appeared on the home page.Well noted the Netflix should need NEBULA CONNECT app to control, just like the original Nebula Capsule.Pros:1. Real Android TV projector, you cannot find another projector which supports Android TV OS, moreover, at this size. C’on!2. Bright and real 720P HD picture.3. DRM lv1, you can use an app DRM info to check this.4. Google Assistant works great.Cons:1. Chromecast didn’t support Netflix, and I streaming Netflix in my Capsule II directly.2. Need to install Airpin to support Airplay, and this cannot support copyright content cast either.Oh, and remember, you have to install a file manager APP to open USB driver, and I suggest to use FX. Aptoide TV is a third party APP store, this would help you find more apps.

I just got this projector, and let me just say that it is awesome!!!The product shipped very quickly and the packaging was top notch. The product was beautifully packaged, but more importantly, it is put together in a way that will protect the product, even if the shipping company is less than gentle with the package.I fired up the projector and found the user interface to be extremely intuitive. As an Android user, setup was a breeze. It guided me through the setup step-by-step, and using the Google device setup, I was able to attach the device to my home network using my phone’s settings and did not even have to type the password! Once it was connected to WiFi, I was able to start watching online content using the pre-installed apps. Additional apps can be installed as needed. The included remote control is great and functions like most other home entertainment controllers. Now to the good part. The picture quality is excellent with great definition and color. Motion is smooth and natural. The sound is also great. It is loud, but with excellent clarity and depth. It does a great job with the full range of sound. I watched an action movie and heard no distortion during the loudest parts of the movie. You can place the project at any distance within the specified range and the projector will automatically focus.. I can’t stress enough how easy this projector is to use. Compared to my previous projector, the Capsule 2 is much brighter. My previous projector was unusable in a room with any ambient light, but this one is decent in a room with normal ambient lighting, and phenomenal if you darken the room. This is hands down the best portable projector I have ever seen. I highly recommend it.
