Got this for a gift, and compared to our Capsule Max II, this is a nice step up. First of all, I wouldn’t consider either to be particularly portable, given you’ll need a tripod, cables, Fire Stick, etc. Where this one wins out is on two key things: Brightness (this is much brighter, which is great), and sound (this sounds MUCH clearer). Sure it’s bigger/heavier, but you’re probably not flying with either… I’d happily throw either into the trunk for a road trip movie-on-the-go.Great thing about the extra brightness this provides (over the Capsule), you can more easily just blast the picture onto a fairly light wall, without needed a dedicated reflective screen!Caveat: the onboard software/OS seriously blows. If you want to watch Netflix, Prime, Plex, etc with this… I highly recommend getting a Fire Stick or other usb-stick player with a decent interface… then just using the HDMI-in on this, and treating it like a simple projector, rather than a smart TV.
