In full disclosure, I’m somewhat of an Anker fanboy. This is my 5th wireless headset, to go along with 7 charging cables, three battery packs, and a number of other accessories. So when I saw these on sale for under $40, I made the leap. Sure glad I did.First impressions were strong. Packaging was great, tons of different silicon tip sizes, pairing was a breeze, and running it through some quick tests of different uses was promising. Take one out, use it in one ear, pull out a second one, put one away, all works seamlessly with no issues for me whatsoever (on iPhone 8). Sound quality is on par or better than my previous Anker wireless buds (SoundBuds Slim and Slim+) and are even more comfortable. I like to wear beanies or have them in while laying down on a pillow, and the smaller form factor means they aren’t jammed into my ear as much as the SoundBud Slims.Only issue I can see is no volume control on the headset, which is a bummer, but not a huge deal. A previous commenter mentioned the button placement and having to “jam it into his ear” to use the control buttons. This is true, but I presume they can address that in a future version. This one seems to be so new the user guide isn’t even on their website yet. And while I don’t think this has true noise cancellation, the fitment is so good it seems to just block noise out inherently. So that’s cool.Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality AirPod replacement without sacrificing battery life. Anker should be a household name by now, I’ve never had issue with any of their products. Hope that stays true with these! Cheers.UPDATE March 2020: The right earbud completely died on me! I contacted Anker support and they mailed me a replacement pair within three days. Just another reason I’ll continue to support Anker.UPDATE December 2020: I have bought three pairs since (one as a gift, two for my other devices). The new rev has a much softer button, so that issue above is moot. Still the best value, period. the playtime of 7+ hours is no joke. Cheers

—-UPDATE: 10/15/2019—Anker’s CS Team reached out and arranged a replacement order. Pairing took seconds once unpacked, and no issues getting both earbuds working. Great sound quality. Comfortable fit. Looking forward to the extra battery life vs my Liberty Lite pair.Looking forward to buying more Anker, Soundcore, & Eufy products in the future. Always great quality, regardless of the price…but especially because of the price.—Original Review—I’m a huge fan of Anker products. I’ve owned several pairs of wired and wireless bluetooth earbuds from Anker over the years. However, this was the first pair I’ve been disappointed with. While packaged very nicely, the buds would not pair correctly. Tried to troubleshoot with charging, resetting, restarting…nothing resolved the issue. I had to send these back as defective. Maybe I just got a bad pair, but at this point I would not recommend the P2 buds.

I’m very happy with these. They have most of the features of the Apple AirBuds which fell out of my pocket somewhere en route from Texas to New York, with no way to trace them, and at a small fraction of the cost, while actually fitting better than the non-top-of the line version I had. Sound quality is amazing when listening to music, and I’m surprised how much they block outside noise. I love that I can use either earbud singly, when I just want to be able to answer my phone or listen to the spoken word, and I don’t have to fight with it to get it to do that (unlike another brand tried). They also pair nearly effortlessly. The only thing they don’t do that the much more expensive ones did is Qi charging, and for the massive price difference, I can live without that. I got an entire night’s listening to my Kindle on one bud, had about 25% left, and can recharge in the case, so that’s absolutely not an issue. I’m also told that it’s really easy to hear me on the phone when using either or both of these. If my review was helpful, please click the button below.

Only reviewing this because of all the neg reviews on here. Not sure why there are so many. Initial impressions are they are loud, comfortable and plenty of bass those that are having trouble – you probably do not have them in your ear correctly or you don’t have the correct ear piece installed. Not sure on battery life as I just put them on, but have had them on and playing for the last 2 hours or so. Checked the distance and I was a solid 50 ft from my phone and they still were clear without any sound break. Hope the battery life lives up to the description, but I’m not terribly worried about battery life being an issue. We had a dog kennel move in next door to my work and we have a shared wall. The property manager had installed sound proofing but it barely made a dent in the constant barking and howling that has drove me to the point where i was starting to hate dogs (not really, but I could barely think because of the noise). With these headphones on I can barely hear them, with something playing I don’t hear any outside noise hardly at all. Not sure about noise canceling out jet noise as I don’t think these are active noise canceling headphones, but on a plane but it seems like they’d be an okay substitute.I read that some people had latency issues with youtube. – I did not have that issue. Currently watching youtube on my phone and everything syncs up perfectly. These are honestly the best headphones I’ve had for the money. I love the future and love that headphones like these are getting cheaper. I have grown to love anker products over the years as they are quality and pretty cheap. I have had anker usb cords and battery packs for years and none of them have stopped working.I paid 50 bucks for these and will recommend these to anyone. – this is not a sponsored review (believe it or not, I don’t care, I’m usually suspicious of long reviews on simple products, but the amount of negative reviews on here is pretty off putting and I almost didn’t get them.) So if you are on the fence about buying these and you read this review that turned into a rant. Buy them and ignore the bad reviews- those people are have them set up wrong somehow.

I bought two sets of these when they launched, before all the reviews were posted. My order was shipped to my mail forwarding address, and I finally received them today at my overseas DPO address, but I was a bit concerned for the last 3 weeks because of the falling average reviews. However, now I see that the low average might be the result of Anker actually being honest and not buying reviews, perhaps, or inflating them at the beginning to gather more sales. Looks like Anker did this honestly by selling the device at a discount at launch, which I applaud. Kudos, Anker.I’m not an audiophile, but an audio enthusiast. I can compare these to my Sennheiser PXC 550, and my wife’s Sony WH1000XM2, both first tier wireless, over-ear noise cancelling headphones. I also currently own or owned a Sennheiser HD598, HD6xx, and Hifiman HD-4xx, powered by a dedicated USB DAC/AMP. And I use an LG G7 because it has a Quad-DAC to use with wired headphones, and although it doesn’t matter here I wanted to let you know where I’m coming from. Before I get to the product review, just to be clear I’m not a die hard Anker fan. It’s been mostly positive, but I’ve had a couple of Anker products die just outside of the warranty period so I’ve never been hesitant to try other brands. With that said, first off, the complaint about lack of bass is COMPLETELY unjustified. Using a bass frequency test, I found the bass didn’t roll off until 32hz and it extends down to 25hz at a usable dB. Either other reviewers had really bad source materials or they didn’t use the right size ear piece, or they had a faulty unit. It’s actually too much bass for EDM, so I had to EQ it down quite a bit. One reviewer mentioned a V-shape curve, and although I didn’t notice any over emphasized high frequencies, I have a feeling they tuned these for mass market appeal. You’ll have to play with the EQ a bit to find the sound that you like.To me, the sound is acceptable. And for $45 I paid for these, that is a HUGE compliment. Why? Because looking at my Amazon purchase history, I’ve gone through no less than 4 different cable linked bluetooth earphones ranging from $20-$40, and they were all HORRIBLE. For a truly wireless earphones at this price range, the sound quality was a very pleasant surprise. They have different characteristics, but I would say they’re comparable to the wired Sennheiser CX300 and better than the AKG tuned Samsung earbuds, but with too much bass. However, these Anker earphones are FAR more comfortable than both of the wired ones I own. Also, the build quality far exceeds other earphones at this price range. They feel premium, with a soft texture, even on the case. The case is small, well made, and charges via USB-C. Earphones fit well, and don’t shift in my ear when I turn my head as the cable linked bluetooth earphones do. And unlike one reviewer’s complaint, the earphones can get VERY loud, and with the right fit and no sound leakage, you’re just asking for ear damage at high volumes.I chose this model because 1. these were just released with the newest tech, such as aptX, 2. active noise cancelling, 3. longer battery life from the stem design, and 4. IPx7. These will be my everyday earphones for commute, with the bigger headphones reserved for long flights.TLDR: I have some experience with audio. I bought two sets, for me and my wife, and we both love them. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt – these earphones are comfortable, have a lot of bass (too much without EQ), sound quality is acceptable at this price point (a compliment), and the build quality is excellent. These are definitely worth the $60 normal price, though I feel fortunate to have picked them up with the launch discount. If my experience changes after using them for a while, I’ll come back and edit the review.

These are so good. I’m really surprised. I’ve enjoyed some Anker products here and there, but I didn’t know they were so firmly on their game! The waterproofing is great! I love listening to a podcast/audiobook while getting ready, and I just jump in the shower without missing a beat.I love the charging case. It’s small and comfortable in my pocket. It charges the earbuds. Pulling one out turns it on and it quickly/easily connects to my phone.I’ve used Bluetooth earbuds that were wired to each other, and I really didn’t think “true” wireless would be much better(if at all), but wow I was wrong. One-ear listening is more convenient and the other can charge while one is in use. While both are in it’s nice to not fiddle with the wire.I’ve never been one to care much about sound quality/clarity. I’ve always found “good enough” headphones/speakers to be for me: better than super cheapo level, and I’ve never noticed much of a difference trying more expensive “high quality” … These have changed my opinion on this! My wife REALLY hasn’t cared about sound quality, like emphatically insisting that she just can’t tell even between cheapos, but these changed her opinion as well! I had her listen to “Exit Music” by Radiohead and you should have seen her. She was talking about aspects she’s never heard before and carrying on. It was kinda great, but now I have to buy her some. There are more rubber tip choices than I’ve seen.USB-C! Like my phone and MacBook!Sound isolation/cancelling is good.I got mine on a sale, but I’m buying my wife a set at full $60(not bad!)I feel I’m gushing almost too much. It’s just that they exceeded my expectations. Then there’s been a slow burn of pleasantly surprising enjoyment and benefits over the time I’ve used them.Another reviewer mentioned a problem with waterproofing. I wouldn’t use the buttons while they’re wet. The manual didn’t say that, but other waterproof electronics have, so I just don’t.I’m still giving 5 stars, but I’ll try to point out negatives: Another reviewer mentioned the buttons are a bit stiff and warrant a kinda weird gripping it by the, uh, stem(?) to press without pushing the bud into your ear a bit. I’d forgotten that I’d learned this weird skill, but once he mentioned it, I guess it is kinda awkward. I think I would’ve tried to shape the case flatter and wider for less pocket bulge, but again there’s not much – it’s comfy. When switching between these and my car Bluetooth, there’s bumpiness that I wish went smoother, but that seems to be my car’s fault more than the competing devices. Um, my smartwatch battery seems to be running down faster and MAYBE that has something to do with these earbuds? ?Yeah, I’m grasping, these are just great. 5 Emphatic stars!

I purchased the Life P2’s after I lost my Bose Sound Sport headphones. The first thing I noticed about the Life P2’s was that the left ear bud will not stay on my ear, no matter which rubber tip I use. When I can get them to stay in my ear, they constantly have issues pairing and only one side works. I try not to leave a negative review without giving a product an honest chance, but this is very disappointing. The audio quality is decent for the price and the noise cancellation seemed to work well initially but it seems to have stopped working. Unfortunately this will be my last pair of Anker/Soundcore ear buds.Update 10/25/2020: Anker contacted me to rectify the two issues I was having with the Life P2’s.Pairing: I have two phones and had the earbuds paired to both of them. This seemed to cause an issue with it connecting both earbuds to one device when I had Bluetooth turned on both phones. I was able to sort this out after the Anker customer service folks walked me through it. I put this one on me, not Anker. They were very eager to address the issue and it was totally my doing.Fitment: I mentioned that the left earbud would constantly fall out of my ear if I moved my head. This would happen no matter what size tip I used. I tried all of the provided tips and even swapped tips from other devices I had and nothing seemed to help. Anker mentioned that they tested these earbuds on thousands of ears and they should fit pretty much every ear out there. For whatever reason my left ear just isn’t compatible with the Life P2’s.The sound quality is very good and the noise cancelation is impressive for the price. I would use the Life P2’s when I would cut my grass, riding a relatively loud lawnmower. When I first started using them, I would periodically take one of the earbuds out to make sure the blades were engaged. Very impressive noise cancellation compared to my Bose Soundsports. To rectify the fitment issue, Anker sent me a pair of Liberty 2 earphones. The Liberty 2 has the standard round tip that fits in the ear canal, along with a rounded silicone piece that holds the earbuds into the outer curved part of the ear. I haven’t had much time with the Liberty 2, but I noticed the different design stays firmly mounted in my ear. I took them out for a quick run earlier and they performed flawlessly. Great audio, more bass than the Life P2’s, excellent noise canceling and very comfortable. The Cliffnotes Version of my review: The Life P2’s worked well, but the left earbud would not stay in my ear. I screwed up the pairing, Anker sorted that out. Anker’s customer service is absolutely top notch and they went above and beyond to rectify the issues and make me happy. Bottom line, the Life P2’s are great if they fit your ear. If you have issues with earbuds not fitting, buy the Liberty 2’s. Anker has gained a customer for life and I’m very pleased.

Where do I begin with these wireless earbuds? To put it simply, these are amazing and hold their own against some of the best out there. Used on the S10 Plus, here is what I’ve noticed this far:Pairing – Easy and simple. When you turn on Bluetooth, you will see the device name “Soundcore 2” and “Sound core 2 L”. Essentially, each earbud outputs a signal and when you connect to one, it automatically syncs with the other earbud. When connected, you will be greeted with a voice stating the battery is high. Also, when paring and connected, each earbud outputs a blinking white light, letting you know they are ready to pair and connected.Battery – Long lasting! I own both the Airpod pro and Powerbeats pro, and the Soundcore 2 is a battery champ. It is rated for 7 hours and while I have never fully depleted them, I can confirm they outlast the Airpod Pro’s by a long mile and from 7AM to 1PM, the battery regularly has 70%left; volume between 30-50%. I am confident that these can make it through an 8-hour day, with no issue. The charging case does not display the battery percentage for itself, however the phone Bluetooth settings on your phone does show how much the earbuds have.Sound – Excellent. These are very, very good for both phone calls, music, and video. Whether in traffic, downtown city, or outside, parties on the other end of the call never have issue hearing me, nor me hearing the other side. Music and video sounds just as good, coming off very clear and crisp, with no lag or delay. Let me reiterate, I confirm there is no lag whatsoever, so do not let that hold you back.Fit – Very comfortable. The Soundcore 2 earbuds plug right into the ear, with no issue and comes with 5 sizes for ear tips. If there was anything I do not like, its that the earbuds create pressure when pushed in too far or when using the control button and this is uncomfortable. Also, there is a level of noise cancellation, as certain elements of the outside are blocked, however the Soundcore 2 does not have official active noise cancellation (ANC).Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would buy again or for a close one.Update 07/05/2020: now using with a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and these work with no problems!Update 03/25/2021: these earbuds are still going strong, no issues still.Important update 04/30/2021: I accidentally left these earbuds in my pockets, no realizing until afterwards, and put them through a full wash and drying cycle. To my surprise, they still work for calls, audio, with no lag.

As a Google Pixel owner I have been looking for an Airpods competitor that would allow me to have true wireless headphones that can charge over USB-C, have a rock solid connection, good audio quality, and good call quality. I have tried several pairs in the $40-$60 price range and as usual Anker comes to the rescue! These have great audio for both music and calls, they are setup so either can be used for phone calls in mono mode, they charge over USB-C, and although lacking touch controls may seem like a bad thing, its actually a great thing since you will never have accidental triggers of the controls. If you are looking for a solid inexpensive choice for your Pixel or Android phone, look no further!

I’ve had these for about a week now. Audio quality is very good, though I feel that some of Anker’s “traditional” bluetooth earbuds (like the Slim+) sound more dynamic. By dynamic, I mean better separation between instruments, and just closer to using a nice pair of wired earbuds. Overall though, FANTASTIC for $60. Additionally, you can use each earbud independently, and Bluetooth 5.0 ensures there’s never any cutting out or skipping. Calls also come in through both earbuds instead of just one (this was an issue with early truly wireless earbuds). I feel like these absolutely nail the basics (USB-C, AptX high quality audio, solid battery life, small case). The battery seems like it could go on forever; I’ve yet to reach low battery, and the case providing an additional 40 hours (!!!) is amazing. I think these are the first pair of earbuds that I can consider full-time replacements to my wired earbuds (I have a Galaxy Note 9, which means I can use wired headphones too). The only pair of wireless earbuds I’d consider over these are the Liberty Air 2 (also from Anker), and that’s because they have:- Wireless charging case- Sensors for auto-pausing the music when you pull out an earbud- Touch controls instead of physical buttons that you press and jam the buds into your ear a bit (and also allow for things like volume control and stuff)- HearID, which automatically tunes the earbuds to your ears (though some phones like Samsung’s have this feature built into the phone anyway)However, I got the P2’s on sale for $45, and even at the full price of $60, they’re half the price of the Liberty Air 2’s. For that price difference, I can absolutely forgive the shortcomings. Especially when you factor in some benefits of the P2’s over the Air 2’s, like 40 Hours of battery life (P2) vs 28 Hours (Air 2).I would say that, between the P2’s and Liberty Air 2’s, the notable differences are price and better battery life (P2) vs noise cancellation, wireless charging case, and touch controls. Other than that, they have the same frequency range and core features.
