I bought these specifically for three reasons: 1. They have a USB-C charge port; 2. I trust the Anker name after using their batteries, cords, and ear buds; 3. They were inexpensive. The sound quality is excellent, especially for $40 headphones. The EQ sounds pretty balanced and doesn’t seem to color any tones. The bass is punchy even without using the “bass-up” button. With the boost on though it does rattle the windows in your head. I think it’s only useful for EDM or music that is overtly bassy as it tends to muddy more musical genres.I have not tested the battery performance yet, but I don’t see a reason to doubt it. They fold up nicely for stowage though a soft-sided case would be nice.Personally, my most important criteria was the USB-C connector. My Liberty 2 ear buds, my phone and tablet all have a Type-C connectors. I did not find anything else in this range for over-ears with USB-C and not from a random China brand of unknown quality. Even the other Anker headphones use Micro-USB so I hope they are updating them soon.Very pleased overall and would definitely recommend to anyone.

These are great headphones ? I’m not gonna sit here and compare these to Bose or Beats because obviously it’s just like apples to oranges. When I got my first product by Ancore(it was a little speaker, that delivered quite a big sound) I was shoked by the amazing quality for such a modest price. For that reason I was confident that paying $40 will get me a legit product. This is exactly what happened. When I got these, all the boxes checked: lightweight, not too bulky for a 5’4″ girl, noise cancelling, feels great to the touch (this one is weird, but you know that feeling when something is made well when you touch it you just know), pairing to my phone is easy, bass is superb, it folds, and you can simultaneously pair it with two devices!Just a great product and a great quality. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants a good bang for the buck ?

I was surprised at the durability of this product. This particular model does not have noise canceling. This is GREAT as you can cut out noise with Audio books or music BUT actually hear someone screaming at you that the bulldozer is about to kill you.I bought these in September of 2020. They have been used and abused. Painted, gotten wet, dropped, kicked, slept in and tortured. The band that holds the unit to my head is getting a little weak and if I paint ceilings I have to move the band towards my forehead to keep it on, but it has handled TORTURESafe to sat I use products like the gorilla from American Tourister commercials in the 70’s . If there is a quality issue or a design flaw, I will expose it. The unit has logged well over 2500 hours on my head. I wear them as I work and I often fall asleep with it on.The ear piece leatherette is giving out and the stuffing is exposed and now covered in tape, but it turns out that there are replacement cups. My logging on to purchase these replacements gave me the opportunity to update my review. The durability is EXCELLENT . physically takes abuse. The battery charges quickly and I get 4-5 days of use per charge. Have left it on site in a shed where temps dropped to -20 over the weekend and regularly work outside in extremes followed by indoor extremes in a mill. Battery still is awesome ….Connects bluetooth easily. Advances songs with a push of the up volume button.Sound quality is a solid B+ and for 39.99 SONY and BOSE can keep the $250 price differential.

I’ve had these for about a week, I originally ordered them as a birthday present for my girlfriend and wanted to test them out before I gave them to her. After just under a week of use they work great! The sound quality when listening to both music and spoken words, such as YouTube, is excellent both wired and wireless, and although these are not Active Noise Canceling the passive noise isolation works even better than my $100 headphones that have ANC! The earcups are super soft and I can wear these for hours without any ear fatigue or discomfort. The battery life is also very good! They came to me at 80% and after about a week of listening for a few hours every night they’ve gone down to 60%, I have yet to charge them and at this rate they should last about a month or more before needing to be charged. With the usb-c port they should also be quick to charge as well. These are so nice that I actually took my gf’s set and bought a second pair for her. For $40 headphones the quality is top notch. The only complaints I have are occasionally I’ll get a low hiss when using them in Bluetooth, but thats only when theres nothing playing, it goes away once you start playing music/a video and I wish they were metal instead of plastic but again they’re $40, you can’t expect premium materials at this price.Overall I really recommend these if you’re looking for cheap but quality Bluetooth headphones.

I live in a close neighborhood. Not CLOSED. Just close enough the neighbor’s music/tv affects my house too. Being the good neighbor I am, instead of buying a sound system to blast them back (I am older than that), I bought these to drown out their noise while enjoying mine. I LOVE them! They are very lightweight, extra soft, and the sounds are amazing! I could actually hear more background noises during some movie scenes that I thought were conversations going on in my house. I could hear the rain outside the room the actor’s were in. I could hear different birds twittering about. I was able to walk into other rooms and not lose connection and hear everything going on during the time away from the screen. MUSIC: I listen to an eclectic mix of music, the extra bass may be too much for some of the songs, so being able to switch back and forth with a touch of a button is great. I don’t plan to use these away from home, but I understand the frustration that people are facing with not having a special carrier for these. They fold up nicely, I could see them fitting into one of those neoprene lunch box carriers if I do choose to travel with them. I dropped a star on the noise canceling rating because my son kept bothering me during the movie.

The Soundcore Life Q10 are a pair of Bluetooth headphones by Anker.Upon receiving the Q10s we are greeted with the well-known Anker blue and white box. On the left hand side of the box we are enlightened by the presence of a handsome model, demonstrating the product.Opening the box, we are greeted with the headphones in folded status. Right below the headphones we can see a black USB A to USB C cable for charging the headphones along with a black 3.5 mm aux cable for wired listening. The headphones look slick however they are made entirely from plastic including the silver hinges on each side. This may or may not affect longevity in the long run, only time will tell.Pairing the earphones is a seamless experience. I simply turned them on and tapped “Soundcore Life Q10” in the Bluetooth settings section of iOS. After pairing I listened to various songs, for example: “Power” by Alexander Lindo, “We Are The Champions” by Queen, “Attack” by Thirty Seconds to Mars. All tracks sounded great on the Soundcore Q10. Engaging the “BassUp” button induces heavy bass that resonates the head. Sound quality is more than substantial and crushes everything else in this price range. The headphones sit comfortably and securely around the ear without causing any fatigue. The ear cups create a seal that enables passive noise cancellation. The Q10s feature a multifunctional button which gives you access to Play / Pause, Siri and Power On/Off features. Above that button we have a dedicated volume rocker which works in conjunction with iOS and macOS. Long pressing volume down goes to the previous track and long pressing volume up goes to the next track. Above that we have a dedicated “Bass Up” button for rich creamy immersive bass. These are a great sounding pair of headphones. Highs are crystal clear, mids are present and bass is solid. The sound quality is great. While on the topic of sound, these headphones natively support AAC decoding. I saw no mention of this anywhere but was able to confirm it when pairing with my Mac. This is great as sound quality is dramatically improved in comparison to SBC.To better understand: AAC > MP3 > SBC. SBC at 320kbps is the equivalent of MP3 at 256 which is the minimum requirement for decent audio quality in the MP3 format (especially when listening to rock music). AAC encoded at 256kbps provides you with the quality of MP3 encoded at 320kbps. SBC is the native codec supported by all bluetooth audio products and it is left up to the manufacturer to add support for codecs such as AAC. Anker has done just that. Native AAC decoding support means that audio encoded in AAC (Apple Music / iTunes) will playback natively without being re-encoded. This means no loss in quality.Battery life is excellent and I’m not surprised considering the fact that Anker is the current leader in the power bank and charger department. I have had the headphones for a while now and have not had to charge them. The Soundcore Life Q10 is a great pair of Bluetooth headphones. They sound great, they are affordable and very comfortable.

I absolutely love these headphones. I’m somewhat of a sound snob and have a few “go to” places to listen to music where I can really hear everything well. My go to has been my car, but I wanted something I could listen to while working around the house without blasting music across some home speakers. I had first purchased a pair of Cowin E7 noise cancelling headphones, but felt the bass was lacking. Great product and good build quality, but they were missing the low end. I traded those in for a pair of Picun P28S (not noise cancelling) headphones. Much better bass but the rest of the sound was super muddy. I traded those in for these Soundcor Life Q10 headphones and am blown away. These are not noise cancelling headphones. That being said, they isolate outside noise very well without blasting music at a high volume. There is a bass boost setting which helps bring the bass up on songs where the recording isn’t great. They feel really well made and are super comfortable. They charge quickly and last a long time. I find myself re-listening to a lot of songs I’ve heard before and hearing new instruments and parts of the song. These put a big smile on my face.

This is my first set of over ear Bluetooth headphones and they rock. I like to listen to podcasts or music while I cook and these are perfect. They cover my ears and block out my kids hollering at each other, so I can hear my podcast without having to blow out my ear drums (note: I can see them from the kitchen, so I know if I need to take the headphones off). Listening to music is also really rich. I accidentally turned the bass up and was shocked at how deep the bass was on normal. I thought I had been listening with bass up on the whole time. I also like how you can plug these in (if your phone still has a headphone jack) and use them without charging. These definitely meet the high quality standard I’ve come to expect from Anker.

These aren’t noise-cancelling, but they do block out a lot of the noise. In fact, they’re perfect for me. I can listen and still hear enough if one of my kids really needs me, but I can also ignore the general chatter while I work and they play. Sound quality is great, like all of Anker’s sound products. They’re my favorite brand for speakers and headphones.Update 4/15/21: I’ve had these for almost a year now, and I started to notice the sound going in and out on one side. I use them daily, so it doesn’t surprise me that they may be wearing out. I called about the problem and one of their representatives, Malcolm, helped walk me through resetting them. He determined that there was an issue with them and has replaced them for me. I still have only good things to say about Anker. I also own a pair of wireless ear buds, and a Bluetooth speaker all by Anker. I have also gifted a pair of these headphones to my sister and another set of headphones to my father.

I don’t know what kind of magic spell they cast on these things. The sound is amazing with the bass up or down, the battery lasts forever, and they are super comfortable. My last pair of ear buds cost $180 and they don’t sound half this good or last a tenth of the time; at 1/5th of the price, these are a steal. I’ve bought and returned half a dozen pair of headphones over the last month in my search for the right pair, and I’ve finally found them.
