Sorry about the lame attempt at trying to sound cool – Macklemore will tell you that I am not cool.Moving on to the earbuds – I have gone through a number of lower priced earbudsheadsets over the years – some of them have sounded pretty good “for the money”. These earbuds hit well above their price, which is awesome! I was really surprised about how great these sound! Very nice bass…really surprised about how much bass these have…a very warm sound, which I found pleasant. And you can easily customize the sound to suit your taste using Soundcore’s app. That’s another really nice surprise – usually apps that support earbuds are limited, get in the way, or insist on running all the time, which I find very annoying…the app for these earbuds is actually very useful. There are a number of EQ presets to choose from and you can completely customize your own EQ settings, if you prefer. I found the presets to be surprisingly useful. Then on to noise cancelling – WOW!!! Just WOW!!! I call my mom a number of times per week because she lives alone in another state – when I call, I am commuting in my 1997 Geo Prizm – if you know anything about those cars they are NOISY…lots of wind noise and general rattling and buzzing…she hears it all. The first thing, and I do mean, the first words out of her mouth when I called her the first time was “Are you calling me on your way to work? Because it does not sound like you are in your car at all…it sounds like you are calling me from home.” She could not hear any of the road noise at all…I spoke to her for about 45 minutes while driving to work – she said I was clear and very easy to hear nearly the entire time…the only time that the call quality decreased was in the usual areas where the cell phone connection is spotty…and then she said it was only a slight decrease in quality but I was still very clear. Much clearer than with my Plantronics earpiece, which says a lot because those were my previous best earpiece.I was not about to pay more than $100 for earbuds…I am very glad that I found these – these are an EXCELLENT BUY!!!

It’s amazing how much quality and great features you’re getting at this price point. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, since I’m used to buying much more expensive gear, so I wasn’t expecting much. I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised! They sound GREAT, extra, full range, deep bass, but the rest of the frequency range sounds good. Definitely not muddy or overbearing, I listened to rock as well as bass heavy electronic tracks and all sounded great.Comfort:Comfort for me is the #1 thing when it comes to earbuds or headphones. It doesn’t matter how good they sound or how good the ANC or features are if they’re not comfortable! These fit the bill nicely. I had never worn stem style earbuds before, but it doesn’t really make a noticeable difference to your comfort anyway, you can’t feel the stem. These are light and don’t apply pressure to any area on my ear that would otherwise lead to discomfort (like most of the other earbuds in the market that are unnecessarily large, like the new Sony WF-1000XM4). I can wear these for hours with no discomfort whatsoever, so we got a winner here.ANC: The ANC on these is a bit different than what I’m used to, as I’ve never owned earbuds with ANC, just cans like my beloved Bose QC35’s and my JBL Tour One, of which the Bose obviously is the king. Well, when compared to my Bose, these Life P3’s do a pretty good job of muffling the heavy, industrial fan I have in my room, and in some cases blocking out different frequencies better than the Bose. The fan just sounds different. Maybe it’s not as quiet as with the Bose but the pitch it gets on these is very subdued. (I have a VERY loud fan in my room on purpose so as to have a very loud white noise that I can sleep to while drowning out the rest of the outside noises that wake me otherwise). The thing about the ANC on these earbuds is that it has 3 modes, transit, indoor and outdoor. I found indoor to be the best for me personally around the house, it brought a very impressive level of attenuation. I could still clearly hear my dogs barking but all the other, more constant noises went VERY silent. In some cases it feels more silent than the Bose cans do, and those are among the best ANC performers on the market. Don’t get me wrong, the Bose are still kings in that regard, but it does by no means put these buds to shame, they stand up surprisingly well. I wish there was an option for selecting “maximum” ANC where it would mix the 3 options, because while standing next to my fan, I went through all 3 and they each blocked a different frequency range from the fan and changed its pitch and perceived loudness. I’m sure they’re capable of consolidating all 3 and bringing even more impressive ANC but I suspect they don’t do this in order to not hurt their flagship. Just my guess but regardless, the ANC performance in these buds is nothing to scoff at and I am actually very happy with and impressed by them in that regard. Transparency mode on these is also very good, you don’t have to take your buds out in order to have a conversation or be aware of your surroundings. I have mine set to long press to switch between ANC on and Ambient aware on. Which brings me to the next plus, the touch controls on these earbuds is actually decent, unlike my JBL Tour One where adjusting my headset often times results in activating the touch controls unintentionally. That doesn’t happen with these buds.Find my buds:This has a feature where it makes your buds make a loud noise so you can find them. Pretty neat if you ask me, I’m thinking of getting a pair of these for my mother, since she’s constantly losing everything. In conclusion:I’m very happy with my purchase, I have included many pictures so you can see what you get when you buy these and what it all looks like. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, for the money, they can’t be beat and even if they were more expensive, I’m sure most would be happy with them.

Fit, Sound, and Utility —Fit: The P3s have a better fit entering the ear. So the weight-bearing is better leveraged by the ear itself. This simple matter of depth lends no immediate consideration for aftermarket gels that I need for the AirPods and AirPods Pro.Sound: A little complicated at first, but it lends control where I want it. The actual quality of the audio is pretty amazing, but that is because it is an in-ear type earphone. The bass response is amazing in my experience and is actually improved when noise-cancellation (NC) is active, unlike the AirPod Pros where sound quality is terrible when noise-cancellation is active, good seal or not. Apple’s EQ algorithm is not without merit and it should get better with time, but not everyone processes sound the same way, and the P3 resolves this with a controllable EQ via the Soundcore app.Utility: Tap controls. Single, Double, and Hold 2s. All customizable, and all good. This is what I loved and hated about the AirPods 1 and 2. Tap controls were intuitive, and quick ways to manage volume, calls, etc. However, tapping an AirPod is asking a human to knock that out of their ear due to their non-canal fitment. When I got my AirPod Pros, they took tap controls away, which is weird, because tap controls make functionally better sense when using an in-ear type apparatus. Buttons on the stem, more or less required that I push the AirPod Pro back into my ear out of fear it would fall out afterwards. The stability of fit should lend for tap controls to be better on the AirPods Pro instead of removing it, and the P3 knows that.Overall: These P3s contain in a single product every quality I’d prefer to have from Apple: In-ear depth resulting in better fit, tap controls, and custom EQ.Cons: Spatial audio support isn’t explicitly listed, although that is likely a source issue not a unit issue. Connectivity with other devices without the Soundcore app is questionable, since trying to connect to laptop seemed impossible so I gave up on it.Things like noise-cancellation are bonuses. Apple’s inter-device compatibility is really the only thing that separates them from the P3 being the go-to accessory at home. Spatial audio and the Home setup that Apple’s products mesh with are great _at home_ — but if you need a wireless in-ear type that won’t fall out because you are chewing gum, or won’t degrade in sound quality because noise-cancellation is active, and costs less than half as much as the $200 AirPod Pros — get the P3 and move about your life.

I’m definitely a Techie as my career is in IT. I also love home theater and produce music so I have some high end headphones and speakers. So I like to think my opinion means a little something. These are phenomenal. They sound great. Nice clarity, thumping bass. They’re definitely not audiophile quality, but if you think you’re getting audiophile quality with earbuds then I seriously question your knowledge of audio. Calls are very clear. I asked several people how I sound and they all say very clear. I’m sure anc isn’t the best money can buy, but it definitely works well. I put them in transport anc mode in my work van and can’t hear any road noise. The transparent mode is amazing too if u wanna clearly hear everything in your surroundings. I’m recommending these to everyone. It’s nice to get your money’s worth. I guarantee u won’t be disappointed. Get these!

As usual anker/soundcore delivers a premium feel and sound for an affordable price. Temper expectations though if you are expecting ANC and ambient awareness features on par with airpods pro or Sony wh1000xm4. The ANC and ambient awareness are in fact good and improved over the life p2 but you do sacrifice the natural sound of the audio but this depends on whether you are listening to an audiobook/podcast vs music. In my mind the ANC and ambient awareness hits way above its class at this price point. To get the most out of the features you will need to use the EQ app but this is normal. The case is compact, wireless charging, charges quickly. The buds themselves fit great even for someone with large ears like me and the tips aren’t half bad but I usually upgrade all of my ear tips with higher quality silicone ones but I could see myself using these without sacrificing comfort. Audio without the ANC activated is pretty good, slightly warm but doesn’t lose clarity on the mids and highs, lows are punchy but not heavy which is something that depends on the listeners preference. I used these all day at work and enjoyed my audiobooks and podcast as usual but maintained my ability to speak and hear without quickly trying to pause my media. I was even able to hear equipment alarms from several rooms away. I highly recommend these for anyone who wants quality but isn’t ready to make a $250 investment into a pair of earbuds, I also recommend the soundcore liberty air 2 pros. But those are slightly more expensive than the p3s

For the money I seriously doubt that you could find a better pair of earbuds. I am loving these things.Update 9/30/21; After 3 weeks of use I am going to share my experience with these Bluetooth wireless ear earbuds. They are OUTSTANDING….I’ll explain. Week one I am tuning the gears on my mountain bike, my phone is sitting in the garage as I test the new adjusted gears on my bike. I’m riding slowly switching between gears watching the derailleur operate when suddenly my music began to cut out, I’m thinking “oh oh I better start heading back towards my house’ when I turned around I realized I’m easily 150 ft from my phone. Talk about awesome Bluetooth range with these… fantastic! Then yesterday I was asked by the office to go on a service call after I got my crew going. (I’m an electrician) …..I brought one of my apprentices with. We ended up having to trouble shoot these rather large sump pumps at a water pumping station. I manually pumped down the water level at the motor control center in order to change out the floats in the sump pit. At the time I had only one earbud in. I took it out of my one ear and put it in my t-shirt pocket, I didn’t want it to accidentally fall into the water as I am doing my thing. Somehow my harness worked the earbud out of my shirt pocket, just as it was about to launch out of pocket my apprentice says something, as I look down to see what’s about to happen, my harness shifts again and plop. Stratch one earbud. Finished my task and as I was packing up my tools told my apprentice to go down the ladder and retrieve the sunken earbud. He does this, shakes the water off of it and hands it to me. I put the other earbud in my ear and finish out the day. On the way home at the end of the day I get a low battery message for the girl inside my earbud. I’m thinking that’s strange, I’ve only had this earbud in for 4 hours. I open the app and look at the battery level, the app is showing both earbuds are operating. I dig into my pocket and put the previously sunken earbud into my ear and to my surprise it’s working?! ….. under 6 inches of water for over an hour and it still works flawlessly! Truly AMAZING!The other amazing thing is the noise cancelation feature works really well on these. Don’t hesitate to buy these, they are worth twice the money you pay for them.

I rarely write reviews. The only time I bother is if something is either really terrible, or really really amazing, and these headphones are nothing short of absolutely incredible! The sound quality is something that I would expect from a $200+ pair of headphones! Now I’m not a complete audio snob, but I do enjoy good sound, and these truly deliver. Typically Soundcore headphones are a bit heavier than what would be considered natural in the bass department but these are definitely not. To be clear the bass is definitely there and a pretty big star of the show, but it isn’t overpowered and muddy. The bass is nice and clear/clean and really compliments the overall sound profile without completely taking over. Mids and highs are clear and concise, and you can clearly make out the vocals in anything you are listening to. The battery life is pretty incredible too! I use them about 8 hours a day at work and I have only charged the case once (the day they arrived). Speaking of charging, I absolutely love the wireless charging! Is so nice to just plop the case on my charging pad and not have to worry about plugging and unplugging the device to charge, which should help the longevity of the device as I won’t have to worry about breaking off a cable in the charge port. As for the ANC (active noise cancellation) it does work surprisingly well for a pair of earbuds. ANC is never going to be amazing on a pair of earbuds but it does work. I typically leave this feature off as once you have anything actually playing it really doesn’t make any bit of difference (it also saves a bit of battery life). Not really a fault of the ANC on this device, but when you experience this feature on a $1200 aviation headset, or ANC on proper over the ear headphones, it just seems like nothing more than a bullet point on a spec sheet to help sell more of a product. As for the comfort, I am VERY picky about when it comes to earbuds! I’m happy to say that I can wear these for 8 hours without any pain or ear fatigue in the slightest. I did get this product as part of the pre-order deal so while I only paid $65 for them, after experiencing these headphones first hand I would absolutely gladly pay full price for them! I never thought I would see the day a pair of headphones in this price range would actually be this good! Stop reading reviews and buy a pair already!

Ok. So, I have now owned SoundCore Neos, Liberty Air 2 and now these P3s. I have also owned about 4-5 other brands of BT earbuds. As an avid music collector, DeeJay and Audiophile I have been using headphones of all sorts since the 1980s. Things have come a LONG way, it seems like each time I review a SoundCore product I always say they are the best, and these, are again, the best. For the price you get some stunningly good earbuds.- Sound Quality is so good it’s hard to find any issues. Incredibly deep and powerful lows, if you like bass, get these. The lows still allow the highs to come through crystal clear and mids will bounce back and forth in stereo making for a concert in the middle of your head.- Battery Life, every morning I use just the right earbud, in mono, to listen to TV while people sleep. I have binged entire seasons on a single charge, literally going all day without needing to be recharged or switch to the other ear. These are better than the Liberty Air 2, and those things would last all day.- Active Noise Cancelling, it works almost to well. I love you can tap your ear to activate transparency mode and hear your surroundings. These buds are AMAZING for those looking to totally block out the outside world. I love using these for meditation, going to sleep and just going into my own world. There are plenty of more features I can talk about, but I think you should just buy these. If you don’t like em, return em. But these are better than buds double their cost. SoundCore continually kills it with each release. Thanks!- Tyler D.

I’m not one to write reviews, but for these, I’ll make an exception.I own a lot of wireless earbuds, from multiple manufacturers, but these just dethroned my Samsung Galaxy Buds as my favorite. Amazing sound quality, the bass hits hard without drowning out the mids and highs. I listen to a wide variety of music, everything from country to show tunes to rock to hip hop to punk, and every genre has sounded great. The noise cancelation is decent, but I’ve experienced better from other earbuds. I can’t comment on the call quality, as I use these strictly for music. I tried out the various equalizer settings through the app and settled on Acoustic and I have yet to find a song it doesn’t sound great on.If you’re looking for a great pair of earbuds under $100, look no further than these.

I have been looking for something to replace my Airpods as the Airpods will not stay in my ears without silicone covers on them, which I have to take off and put on every time I put them in and take out of the case. Not a big deal, but a bit of an annoyance. Plus my son REALLY wants Airpods, so he may get mine ;)Anywho, just got these in and looks like I am the first one to leave a review…look at me go! I ordered the dark blue ones and really like the different colors you can choose from.-Setup was a breeze – phone detected them right away in my Bluetooth settings, installed the app and they picked them up right away as well (Wish my Airpods would be the same way.)-In the setup, says to make sure to update firmware. Checked and mine was up to date. Easy peasy so far.-Sound seems to be at the least very close to Airpods, maybe even better. REALLY like that you can choose different sound profile (Rock, Pop, R&B, etc). Have 14 or so options there.-I have not messed with the controls too much yet, but that is one area I did not like the Airpods. Hopefully these are better.-Also like the fact these use USB-C. REALLY getting tired of Apple and their proprietary BS-Came with 5 different sizes of silicone tips. Mediums are already installed, ran the test on the app and said I had a good seal. Tried 1 size up and 1 size down, said not a good seal on those 2, so it seems to work. Like that feature in the app.-I do have issues with earbuds staying my ears without ear hooks or wings. These so far are staying in nicely with just the silicone tips. See what happens when I hit the treadmill. All in all, day 1 I am quite happy with these. Will be doing phone calls, hitting the gym amongst other activities with these in the coming week, so will provide an update to this review later.
