    – Quick connection to laptop Bluetooth- Otherside folks cannot hear my keyboard clicks or my kid playing on background- Good Noise cancelling, can focus on work- Good built quality- Only cons is may be only for me, if I use for more than a hour, ears hurt a bit, cushion is small? Not sure. But ok managebleWill recommend this with USB C port rather than other one.Can connect to Mobile ( Android) and work laptop same time

I’m very happy with these so far. Sound quality is very good to my ear. Using the mic for calls seems fine, what little I’ve tested so far. The headphones seem well constructed, fit comfortably, and look nice and stylish! The buttons seem to be well placed. It’s easy enough to familiarize yourself with where the controls are at, and use them to manage playback, volume, answer calls, etc. Noise cancellation seems pretty good. It doesn’t cut 100% of the background noise when there’s no music playing, but it does muffle it a lot. If there’s some music playing background noise pretty well vanishes. I like that it supports multiple bluetooth connections.I didn’t remove a star but I’d like to see the accompanying iOS app get a little love. First, remove the requirement to create a login before you can use it. I can’t really see any reason this is necessary, so it just seems like kind of a grab for personal info. It also doesn’t have a native UI for iPad, so it displays smaller iPhone UI on the screen, and forces my iPad into portrait mode which is super duper weird when I’m using the iPad with an Apple keyboard. Outside of that, the app does what it’s supposed to and lets you control the noise cancellation features, and select amongst several preset EQ curves or create your own custom EQ settings. That last part to me is the main use for the app, and is pretty cool. If you don’t like the way it sounds, you can dial it in to your preference.Overall for the price, these seem like a solid buy, and I’m enjoying them a lot.

I have read hundreds of reviews on these, some with questionable complaints. The build quality is solid, the sound clear and the volume can be set to unsafe levels. The 20+ are an improvement over the original 20 model, but the differences seem to be helpful to a limited audience. The battery life is awesome. In a silent house, with me and my wife, noise cancellation is irrelevant unless she starts yodelling, but so far she has not done that in a while. Might also come in handy to drown out the cats fighting as well.By default, noise cancellation is on, which is irritating. I always have to shut it off on startup. The built in controls are multifunction, so read that part carefully. The set turns off after a period of inactivity, preserving the battery. A very brief charge gives 4 hours of listening time. The throwaway pair I was using would last 4 hours on a good dayTo be clear, if you want Bose or Apple, don’t buy these thinking they are the same. They absolutely are not. That said, I will take Anker over a crappy pair of weighted “Beats” all day, every day. Beats loads steel slugs into their sets to fool you into thinking they are better than they are. Anker does not need to play those games.I like Anker products as a whole and have bought a number of their products. These are a great value for the money.

I give the actual headphones 5 stars, they sound amazing, the price is great, and the battery life is unreal. I give myself using them one star because, unbeknownst to me, active noise canceling (ANC) is not compatible with me. For those not familiar with the technology: Active noise cancelling is not blocking the sound from reaching your ears, but rather it is emitting a counter frequency that cancels out the sounds around you. While this technology allows us to block out everything around us and only hear the crisp beauty of David Bowie belting out Starman, it has an adverse effect on SOME people. I have learned that unfortunately one of those people is me :,( ANC causes nausea and dizziness. I feel disoriented with ANC turned on. The Q20+ headphones do have other settings like “Transparency” which will amplify the noise around you (the opposite of what you want them for” and a normal mode that is very 90s headphones style (also not the point of buying these). So I’ll keep them for when my earbuds die but the ANC is useless and I’m disappointed. I’m writing this review to save you if you happen to be one of the few who suffer rather than rock out with their over the ear headphones on. If you suffer from motion sickness these will likely be a miserable experience for you too. Try a pair on before you commit. Go to Best Buy and put a pair on, turn on ANC and if you feel dizzy dont even bother buying them, you’ll regret it.For all normal people, but then, they’re awesome.

Old headphones were Cowan, those broke apart after around 1.5 years. These are a nice upgrade, and less expensive too!Overall, can recommend, especially at this price point.Pros:- Noise canceling is great.- Audio quality is good.- Fit is good, they are nice and lightweight. I think it would fit small heads too, my head is pretty small and I have to extend the sides a tiny bit which I usually don’t need to do.- Transparency mode is a cool nice-to-have, basically it passes noise through using the microphone. Sounds may be a little amplified so it can be a bit disorienting at first, or some sounds you’re used to can be startling until you get used to it.- The voice that tells you the battery level and if you’re connected is lower volume, some cheap headphones have really loud beeps and a loud startling voice, not the case with these.- USB-C port is great, I have one less cable on my desk now since my phone uses the same one.- Controls are fine, pretty straightforward and typical from what I’ve seen.Cons:- Disconnects when you plug the charging cable in. These happened with my old headphones and not sure why they do that.- Noise cancelling button and power button feel the same, I guess you just have to get used to where they are placed.

Yes. Comfortable enough to sleep in, warm enough to wear during walks (not breathable, so probably not good for summertime walks).Overall impression of these headphones is great… Battery life blew me away… a work-week on a charge..At first, i thought they were ‘shallow’ for the cups of my ears, but they fit in just right.. They articulate and fold flat for being stored, swivel just enough to accommodate different listening alignment/angles (this is important to realize if you think these are a tight fit, make sure you align them well to your ear contour in relation to balancing the headband to a 90degree angle..).These work great on the airplane/airport, in the car, walking near the highway, in the subway, on the riding lawn-mower, doing homework, on conference calls, on audio calls, on phone calls.Users on conference calls have reported great quality audio coming from the microphone via facetime, jitsi, and on the phone , with little background noise and a clear voice.I do not like how the Bluetooth connection will drop to ‘call quality’ for the ‘speakers portion’ while the headphone’s microphone is being used as a source…. If i choose to use the laptop microphone, the headphones retain the ‘studio quality’ listening abilities (but just do note, when the microphone is being used, it will reduce the listening quality until the ‘call’ is stopped (probably bluetooth-standard for call quality, not a feature of the headphones, not sure though) (i listen to music a lot, even on calls…lol.))battery life is great. if these make it past a year’s worth of daily use, there is no question i will order a second pair of these in a heartbeat. as it stands now, these are in-use almost all-day, everyday. (matter of fact, i should order a backup pair now just so there is no down-time)Some users in the reviews section have reported weird ‘static’ sound coming from the headphones, which HAS happened to me on RARE occasion. also it’s like if a similar sound is being played to what is trying to be cancelled out happens, it ‘statics’/glitches… or once i noticed when i brushed on the headphone’s mic port, it happened… I simply power them off, and power them back on again, seems to take care of the issue.. I may warranty these if it starts to happen often.Otherwise, super impressed by the noise cancelling capabilities of these headphones, great battery life, not bad sounding at respectable volumes.i don’t blast them at max, it’s unnecessary and uncalled for, the noise cancelling makes normal volume audio sound great in loud environments, so you don’t have to ‘blast’ them to compensate for the background noise… it’s a different listening experience/preference. that being said, i don’t think these really ‘distort’ at max volume, but who would do that anyway?.?.Another Con, for me, is that sometimes i get Bluetooth drift, or listening lag, that occurs after prolonged listening streaming from my laptop… Scenario: If streaming via itunes from the laptop, and then start watching youtube videos, sometimes i notice the audio sync where the person speaking in the youtube video seems to be lip-syncing… i simply power down the headphones, and power them on again, sync issue fixed…. THIS IS A RARE OCCASION… i’m talking PROLONGED period of heavy use; like, i’ve been listening to itunes for 10 hours straight… Also, i would attribute this to my laptop, more than the headphones, though there is no way for me to confirm or deny this… i don’t get any ‘drift’ playing audio/videos from the phone… so take that tidbit with a grain of salt, and more as ‘reference to a fix’, than a quality of these headphones.Living within a quarter mile from a small municipal airport, these are great for the busy weekends when amateurs are stunting. i can actually do homework again.Includes: Headphone Case, Headphones, and TRS audio cable.Facts/Specs i have learned in using these headphones:-When Audio Cable is plugged into headphones, they power-down the ‘smart’ capability, and do not use noise-cancelling (but imho the ear cups are thick enough to provide some passive noise-cancelling well enough alone)-included TRS spec cable means no microphone capability when plugged-in (listening only) (I have not tested with a third-party TRRS cable to confirms if that functionality is present within the headphones themselves, though i would not spend money to test this as the manufacturer would likely have included a TRRS cable if it WERE possible, but by all means give it a go).-Headphones Power-Down when plugged in via USB-C for charging (Bluetooth mode)(they DO play audio with audio cable being plugged in while the usb-c cable is plugged in for charging)-Dual-Device: You can connect multiple devices. i have tested with laptop and phone being connected at the same time. the behaviour is that whichever device is playing a sound, will hold the active playback channel until after some few seconds where silence is detected, then the other source ‘can’ take the active playback channel if sound is detected.. So, YES, you CAN connect multiple devices at once, but you Cannot Hear Both devices playing audio at the same time, if that is what you desire) (for instance, if i’m connected to both devices, i’m streaming from the laptop, and i get a notification on the phone, i don’t hear the notification from the phone in the headphones while the laptop is playing if it’s silent, and the phone was active playback channel previously, then you can hear the notification, if it’s silent, and the laptop was active playback previously, there is an almost microscopic delay in playback at the beginning of the notification while it switches to phone for active playback channel)These are details you don’t get without trying them out. know what to expect, and know these are a quality solid pair of headphones for home office personal school use.I know this review is all over the place, but hopefully someone can make judgement as to whether these headphones will work for them or not… So far as normal-sized adult-male head and ear size, these are a great budget set of noise-cancelling headphones for study/office/personal use… i was looking at Bose QC35, but just couldn’t justify the price-point… and looking at battery life comparison, I’m so glad i held out and waited for these Anker’s to be manufactured… definitely going to get a backup pair of these to have NIB JIC.Cheers(Thanks for making quality parts over the years Anker, keep it up!!)

These are the next to cheapest in the soundcore noise cancelling can Q series. These are the cheapest ones to have transparency mode. While transparency mode does work at low music volumes, if you are listening to music even at low volume, you will miss things being said in the room. I wish there was a feature in the app to increase the volume for the transparency mic. I care for my disabled wife and I can’t miss a call for help so I can’t trust the transparency for my needs. The phones sound absolutely great in normal and transparency mode. In noise cancelling mode, I feel like the insides of my head are being sucked out through my ears. This is due to the phase cancellation tech that soundcore uses for noise cancellation. While it does cancel ambient noise around you, it can sometimes feel/hear “weird” especially for ones with sensitivity to phase cancellation.

I recently purchased another brand of bluetooth headphones that were half the price of these. While they were overall an aesthetically nice, good sounding and very comfortable pair of headphones, they had a very flat high end response. Since I like a sharper, crisper quality (like if you set your treble knob on your stereo receiver to the 2 or 3 o’clock position) that pair didn’t do it for me and I will be returning them. After giving them a good try out, I decided that I should have just spent a little bit more. Like everyone here, I read many reviews of many brands but the most encouraging reviews seemed to be for these. Man o’ man, am I ever glad that I decided on the Soundcore Life Q20+ !!These are OUTSTANDING headphones ! Very good looking, solidly built and comfortable. A wee bit heavy, but I can live with that. The sound quality right out of the box in the default mode is pretty dang close to my personal preference. What really sold me on these though, is the Soundcore app that you can download. The app gives you almost endless possible choices to refine the audio parameters that suit you. It gives you many pre-set sound settings such as classical, jazz, rock, acoustic, R&B, etc… As well as an equalizer that allows you to design your own custom pre-set.To end, this here music freak audiophile is extremely happy with this purchase. I highly recommend !

I have to admit that my expectations were very low because I had seen much more expensive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) wireless headphones with terrible reviews. These headphones had many positive reviews so I cautiously bought them for a very long airplane trip. I was pleasantly surprised how good and effective the ANC setting was at blocking out the jet engine noise on a three hour ride. I fully charged them and was able to use them on both flights (6 hrs) and still had juice left over. The quality of the music played via wireless connection was definitely far better than I had recently used at a very competitive price. It comes with a wired connection that I was not happy with the sound quality, but I quickly reminded myself that was not the reason I got them. These wireless headphones were a great buy and will update my review after some additional uses. Definitely recommend them and give them FIVE stars without any hesitation!

Bought this to try in various situations. once it arrived, i opened and got it set up. sitting at home, turned the Noise Cancelling on, felt like i went deaf until i turned music on. couldn’t even hear my cat. tried them this morning when i went to mow the lawn, even in full Noise Cancelling mode, it almost perfectly snuffed the sound of the mower. I’ll have to bring these to work to see how well it silences out loud ultrasonic equipment i use on a daily basis. but so far, i’m amazed by these, and i was kind of expecting this quality with it being from Anker. been buying their usb hubs and cables for a while now w/ no issuesupdate (9/27/2021): tried these at work, and unfortunately, the loud ultrasonics still gets through in the various levels of noise cancelling (“Noise Cancelling”, “Normal” and “Transparency” modes). in a way the external and internal microphones almost amplify the ultrasonics. So, though it was great to use at work to listen to music through my phone, i need to put ear plugs in when i go to use said ultrasonic devices.
