I was a little concerned by the instructions and then interface when I looked at the instructions, but once I installed the app, it was a whole new game. I really like these sunglasses, there is a lot of thought that went into these, the first thing that I noticed and love is when you first put them on your face, you don’t have to worry about turning them on, they turn on when you put them on, and whatever you are listening to stops when you take them off. When you put them back on, it starts playing again. The interface is easy to use, double tap to play/pause and after downloading the app I was able to customize what happens when I slide forward and backwards on the sunglasses, I customized them to volume up and down when I went forward and backwards on one side and fast forward and rewind on the other side. The sound is good and feel they do a good job for where they are located above the ear, it won’t be thumping bass or anything like that, but it does a good job for a bike ride or a walk and just listening to your favorite tunes. These are comfortable and with the controls in the sides of the frames they aren’t very heavy.

Fresh out of the box I was tempted to ding these sunglasses with a nasty one star. I tested three different pairs over the course of a week, but the first took an hour for me to get them working. When they didn’t turn on when I put them on I assumed they had no charge, so I tried several times to make them work while giving them some juice. Eventually I removed and reinserted the temples, and that did the trick.I’ll start by saying that I’m in two minds about the interchangeable frames. I can definitely see the advantage of spending $50 for a new pair of frames and being able to mix and match depending on my mood, but the connection does introduce a weak spot. Anker almost won a one star from me because I thought they were broken. Now, this is why they’ve instead earned 5 stars. I love my Bose audio sunglasses. I loooooove them. I have three pairs: Tempo, Soprano and Tenor. My only problem with them, and with my other audio glasses from the likes of Fauna, is that the temples are obviously big, chunky speakers. Seriously, go and take a look at a pair of Bose Tenor frames right now. They look like a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers on steroids. Ugly as hell.Anker’s Soundcore frames are the first audio sunglasses I’ve tested that actually *look* like sunglasses. The temples are a little thicker than you’ll see on a regular pair of glasses, but it looks like it’s a design decision rather than because it’s packed full of tech. These are attractive. They’re cool. What’s more, they sound really good. Sound quality in audio glasses will never reach the heights of regular headphones without a big technological leap, but the sounds quality here is as good as you can expect from this kind of thing. I’d even say they’re a close competitor of my Bose frames. The only respect in which they fall down is in sound bleed, with the sound clearly audible to those nearby. The thick frames of Bose have the shielding and directional sound to ameliorate that issue a little.Long story short, this is the first pair of audio sunglasses I’ve tested that I could wear day to day as regular sunglasses, and that’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Five stars.

First of all, this was originally gotten to give as a gift to a buddy of mine who works outside and he likes his music but he hates wearing ear buds because he doesn’t like not being aware of his surroundings. He also hates those bone conduction headphones because they are weird and they so far are only mediocre…This seemed to be a really favorable option. He loves them!!! I tried them and IIIIIII really like them! I’ll be honest, it IS a little weird having the sound there and coming from the speakers which are nearly impossible to see. The sound is excellent and quite surprisingly crisp and deep with a concert hall feel.No the bass is NOT incredible, nor would it be… but it is certainly better than I ever expected! The charging system is very simple and really impressive how quickly and easily they charge. They seem to last longer than possible. The frames are normal but the arms are only slight thicker than normal. You just wouldn’t know these are sound glasses…..The packaging is exquisite and the package also includes a case to protect the glasses when you aren’t wearing them…. These are VERY high quality.Based on the high quality, I think the price is right for these…

A lot of glasses seem to look odd with the battery in the ear sections but these actually work really well for my look.I had a set of different glasses where the battery actually pushed your ears out and I was relieved these are not like those.Overall I’m really happy with these glasses because they look almost the same as normal glasses and are super comfortable. The lenses are nice, assembly is easy (2 minutes) and the quality is obvious.
