I give this a one star because the phone keeps dropping. It doesn’t hold the phone so that means it can’t charge. No point of this. Really wanted to love this. :(Recent update on March 8, 2020Anker reached out to me and sent me a replacement. The replacement works amazing!! The phone doesn’t fall off the magnets anymore. It sticks like super glue and charges amazingly fast!!I researched other competitors offering the same but their products are ugly and not as modern like this one. I uploaded a video showing the light glowing like”night rider car, kit”. It’s so awesome I just stare at the charging light glowing.Maker’s customer service as always is outstanding and the best. Their product is the only brand I use because it’s quality materials and last a lifetime… Bravo Zulu Anker

I have three wireless chargers (from Anker and Monoprice) that worked fine with my iPhone X. When I got my iPone 12 mini, I quickly found that they would either not work at all, or only work briefly after I performed a power-off/power-on.I was excited about this charger since the documentation claimed it would support my new phone. Unfortunately, at first, it did not. Out of the box, it would not charge at all. I did the previous power-off/power-on and it worked for one charging session, but then would not charge again the next night. After Amazon & Anker support got involved, I received a replacement which works as it should.My iPhone 12 mini charges overnight on my bedside stand along with the case for my AirPods Pros. The magnet holds the phone in place even as I hit the snooze button on the alarm. OK, as I hit the snooze button multiple times.This is an edit of my first review. Sometimes things happen and that is when we need to rely on good customer support. After receiving the replacement charger, I give this product five stars.

I like 7.5W charging better than 15W, which causes more heat. Apple MagSafe charger with 15W really makes me worry about the longevity of the battery’s health due to the sheer amount of heat generated on the phone’s back. This charger uses 7.5W wireless charging, and my phone stays cool when charging, which would help with the battery health in the long run. Initially, I received a defective device that stops charging randomly pretty frequently. After receiving a replacement, now it works like a char without a single random shutoff.I would recommend the device as long as it won’t stop charging randomly. When that happens, make sure to get a replacement.

I’m using this with an iPhone 13 Pro Max, Spigen MagSafe compatible case, and AirPods Pro. I’m using the 20W USB-C power supply that came with a recent iPad. It charges both devices, looks great and the magnet is super strong.After reading older reviews I can only assume Anker improved its build quality , my copy is perfect. The included charge cable is matching white. It looks great on my desk.I didn’t expect MagSafe charging speed (there are very very few third party magsafe chargers) but it charges as fast (7.5W)as the Qi chargers I’ve been using for awhile.I can highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a MagSafe charging base that ISN’T going to just fall off your night stand and angles it in a way that’s actually useful, this is worth your money. You won’t get the cool animation when you go to charge it but if you have a MagSafe case on your phone or just using your bare phone, you will have no issues with it falling off. I haven’t tested it fully to see how it compares to charging with the Apple MagSafe charger but right now it’s doing what I wanted it to. Make sure you purchase an Anker AC adapter as this does not come with one (USB C cable IS included thought)

An adjustable arm so you can raise/lower the head. I’d prefer they head be lower, but that might sacrifice the floor charging pad (fine by me)2. The USB-C cable they give you should be white. Black clashes so much with the design

Perfect for my purposes. I read in bed and a finger loop is imperative. I, also, do not want to fumble in the dark for a cord after reading myself to sleep. This works great! The magnet holds the phone in place, while allowing the loop to be free and out of the way. I have reordered another one for my desk. Hint: I cut the adhesive part of the loop (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HM7QNQ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) a little smaller so it would fit.I have another charger that works with the apple Magsafe, but I cannot fit the finger loop through it as it has a solid back.

My Phone works without a case, but I have a case with a metal bit in it for another magnet, so will have to test with a “regular” case later on. I like being able to charge 2 devices instead of one for $39.99 (looking at you MagSafe puck). Also, I don’t mind the 7.5 instead of 15W as the 15W made my device too hot when charging which limits screen brightness to 50%. Since I watch videos from this stand, I prefer the 7.5 for this reason. I’m sure Anker also passes the cost savings on to not have a “MagSafe” official stamp as well. I recommend! I love this charger and it’s perfect for my desk while I’m working. Being able to charge my phone via MagSafe and my AirPods at the same time, both in a very slim-profile that does not take up much space on my desk, is wonderful. I just don’t like that I was forced to purchase a adapter separately in order for this to work as intended.

This charging stand it great, it’s exactly what I was looking for. I was a little hesitant to order at first due to some reviews claiming it has poor build quality, wobbles, etc., but I have had great experiences with every Anker product I’ve purchased so I went for it anyway. I’m glad I did.The stand looks fantastic on my desk. Build quality is super solid. No wobble, no creaking, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. It has a decent weight to it but it’s not heavy. It holds my iPhone 12 mini solidly and the arm pivots to adjust the angle the phone sits at.For people complaining that when you try to lift the phone off of the stand with one hand the stand comes with the phone—DUH—it’s connected with strong magnets, what do you expect? Use some common sense and pull *down* on the phone to separate it from the stand instead of pulling up or toward you and you’ll have no problems.Another noteworthy detail is that the stand came with a white cable. Past reviews complaining of a black cable that doesn’t match the stand must have received a previous version of the stand or something.I am a little disappointed that it didn’t come with a power adapter for plugging into the wall, but for the price and quality of this stand I shouldn’t complain. I ordered the Anker Nano IQ3 20W charger and it works as expected. It doesn’t bother me that the stand doesn’t use Apple’s fast charging because slow charging is better for the battery anyway, and the phone will just sit on the stand all day while I work anyway.All in all I’m very happy with this purchase.
