Loved this for extending my MacBooks functionality. Unfortunately the slim case I’d added to my laptop rendered this unusable and I exchanged it for a different model. For those who prefer their MacBooks “au naturale” or in micro thin skins only, this device is a dream.

Fits perfectly. I’m able to connect this hub to my Dell D6000 dock which is also connected to a 10-port usb hub. I can run my mac off of 2 1440p displays while using the rest of the ports for cameras etc. memory card reader works great and it fits wel on both sides. Highly recommend!

New adopter of Mac OS, used this with my recently acquired M1 powered MacBook Pro 13″. Fit and finish is very good, matches the space gray perfectly. Adds very little bulk to the side of the laptop. Allows seamless connectivity expansion. Only observation, it does run warm when being used more heavily (i.e., reading Micro SD content from my GoPro cameras or driving an external monitor). Nothing alarming; just warm compared to the computer. 10/10, would definitely recommend

I had questions about this hub that the sales page didn’t answer, like do the dual USB3 type c connecters plug into my slightly older MacBook Pro’s ports? Answer: yes. Is this hub able to feed through video to my newer 4K monitor? Answer yes. Does this aid in plugging in a USB mike and headphones? Answer, yes. About the only thing it doesn’t do is to present an old-school jack for ear buds, which it can cover up when plugged into the right hand side of my MacBook pro 16″.

I use my computer for music production and I don’t like having many dongles for my interfaces so having this adapter makes it so much easier to plug in my USB accessories. I like that the HDMI is in the rear and that there is a lightning port for wired headphones. Overall this works very well with my current set up and wish I had this sooner than getting a different adapter.Definitely works as expected and the color matches very well with the space gray MBP.I am not sure if this will work with M1’s as I have an Intel MBP.

This totally brings bag the utility and connectivity of the new MacBook Pros, after Apple handicapped the laptop with only two USB-C ports, and then using one of those two ports as charging hub. Everything is right at hand, from SD and micro-SD slots, HDMI port and even USB-A. Fits cleanly on the side and is reasonably stable. Packs neatly in my laptop bag with my Magic Mouse.

I have used other hubs and dingles to add USB ports to MacBook computers before and have been annoyed by dangled cords and messiness. This Anker port fits closely alongside the computer and has all of the port spaces I need to do my work

This is a high quality product.I need to wire to my macbook pro: two cameras, three monitors, a key board, a mic and a power cable. I’ve tried apple and lenovo dongles, piggy backing them etc. This is the answer.Well done. Thank you

The adapter fits snugly into the Thunderbolt ports on the side of the MacBook Pro and has a streamlined look. The only ports I have used are the conventional USB ports; they work well. It seems I need more than 2 conventional USB ports so I bought a 2nd adapter for the other side of the laptop.

I like the design – fits securely onto my Macbook Pro M1 2020, and doesn’t feel overly fragile. I mean, would it be better if Apple had just put the ports into the laptop itself? Yea, obviously. But credit to Anker for making Apple’s greedy design decisions less annoying for end users.
