I love these Earbuds! The key to getting these to sound great is to use the Soundcore app to make sure you have a good fit (Tip Fit Test). This will make sure you have the right-sized ear tips and that you have a good seal. You’ll then want to use the HearID test to attune the earbuds to your ears and get the best sound. You can also match the HearID rest results to your favorite music genre. Once you do those steps, your music will sound amazing. I never realized that Josh Vietti’s bass in his music could be so awesome. Led Zepplin’s Kashmir sounds better than in the concerts. The noise cancellation is really cool too. You can set it for different environments (outdoor, indoor, etc.) but also allow certain sounds like voices to come through. With other noise-cancellation devices, I could never get the music to sound just right. With these earbuds, I always have noise-cancellation on because the music actually sounds better to me!I first heard about these Earbuds when Jim Rossman wrote about them in his tech column. He loved them and gave them a great review. When Prime Day came along, I figured I’d give them a try and I’m not disappointed! Even though I bought these during Prime Day, they are well worth their regular price as well.

Yesterday these came in the mail. The quick start guide is in about #4 font, light blue on white paper. Difficult to read and follow. Clicking on the user manual in my device is pumping music, but goes much faster than I as a new owner can follow. It took 12 attempts to stop/start and I called customer service. They were able to get me connected to my music on my ipod touch! Great sound – notes and percussion I don’t hear on my bose quiet comfort 2. Supposedly there are all these wonderful features you can customize and tailor to your sound preferences. How in the hell to you get the app to open? How can I make adjustments? Neither my phone or ipod has anything to click on or a means to access these features. The videos anker has play faster than I can follow, and I have to view them on my computer since the same small font is on either phone or ipod. They closed yesterday, won’t be open until Monday. Amazing clarity in the music, very pleased with that, but no videos on youtube or at anker site to show me how to use. Glad I saved the box as these are going back for lack of available service. These phones are not user friendly in my opinion, and no accessible video to help me set them up.UPDATE 3/1/21 Today I was able to contact the 800 number, and Justin was able to get the app to work for me after three tries. The initial download takes some time, and there are numerous settings to explore to tailor these earbuds to the sound you want to hear. Soundcore has a superior product in the Liberty Air 2 Pro, but it is unfortunate the written instructions are so difficult to read. An instruction video that I could watch, pause, and follow would really help other customers work through similar difficulties and I hope Soundcore will consider it. The sounds from these earbuds is superior to my new Bose quiet comfort 2, since there are notes I don’t hear on the Bose, and the stereo effect is like being in the studio when the music was recorded. Great job of brining music to life from my ipod. I’ll use these for my gym workouts, and on walks in the neighborhood.UPDATE The Soundcore staff reached out to me, sent me links to “show” me how to use the earbuds, and various settings available. The customer support is outstanding, took personal responsibility to ensure that I had a product that produces the sound worthy of their reputation. The customer support is overwhelming, and the earbuds are worth the cost. The sound is like being in the recording studio, percussions are distinct, bass drums reverberate, voice quality is excellent. If you order this product, look for a youtube link on how to set them up.

My most important criteria were comfort and ANC quality. ANC is near best in class, some of the best I have tried. Comfort is 4/5 and is more than acceptable. Comfort is of course subjective. They come with a wide assortment of tips to get a perfect fit. Downloading the app and running the firmware update is required. If you do not have the app you are not getting full functionality.ANC- 4.5/5 Sony may be better, but for another 150$Comfort 4.2 / 5 These are sufficiently comfortable for multiple hours of wearingBattery life 5 /5 based on them having industry standard battery lifebuild qualit of buds and case 4.5 / 5 these are nice and they look nice. The case is a bit big for industry standardPairing 4 / 5 Pairing procedure is a bit odd, buds must be in case with case open. you press the button and then it paris. if you do it right it pairs greatApp- 5 / 5 basic enough to be easy to navigate, allows for custom EQs, custom button functions, ANC controls. Its really good.Sound Quality- Not a huge concern for me. Many other reviewers mention they are higher end on sound quality. Does support LDAC codec in app.

Great first impressions! I’m comparing to my current Bose Soundsport wireless headphones and I will be selling those on FB marketplace as soon as I’m finished writing this. The medium sized buds they came with are just a hair uncomfortable so I switched to the medium+ size offered in the box and a much better fit for me. I tried all the other sizes just to see and this is just what worked.I downloaded the app and instantly did the firmware update. Once complete I started messing with all the ACN settings. I was in my car in the parking lot idling and could barely hear the engine in “transport” mode, when I got home I could barely hear the baby crying in “inside” mode so a big win there. To those that reviewed hearing a crackling noise with the ACN, did you do the firmware update? If so and if that didn’t fix it, is your cheek touching the tip of the headphone? So far I haven’t had any issues and I toggled with all the settings on the ACN and really happy with it. The only crackling I heard was when my cheek rubbed up against the tip of the headphones microphone and a quick adjustment in my ear fixed that.I haven’t worked out with these yet but I did an aggressive head shake and with the right sized buds I didn’t lose a headphone out of my head. A sweaty HIIT workout will be the true test later, but as of right now I’m not concerned.Lastly the EQ settings are great once you find the one that suits you. I personally liked the classical or R&B preset EQ but I ultimately just customized my own. Make sure you try different EQ settings with ACN on and off, they sound different so adjust accordingly. My one complaint is the touch settings, they could be a little more sensitive but it just might be me not tapping perfectly in the right spot. I do like that you can customize what the tap settings do to suit your needs.

April 2021 Update: Soundcore released a firmware update improving transparency mode and added single tap functionalty. I use this to adjust volume without touching my phone. Headphones are now perfect… much better than Airpod Pros. Flawless bang for the buck. These headphones are near perfect. Audio quality, bluetooth reliability, battery life, eq customization, color options, and switching between devices … all flawless to me, your average Joe.I bought these for their transparency mode and I wish that the ambient noise was a bit more natural. The ambient audio is a bit muffled compared to the performance of my airpod pro’s ability to pass ambient noise through. I’d like soundcore to turn up the transparency volume. Like the airpod pro’s, I want my eardrums to not be able to distinguish whether or not I’m wearing ear buds. Soundcore… you made your earbuds 95% perfect for me.

I purchased these after returning a pair of Jabra buds that just weren’t up to the task. When I heard music through them the first time, I was blown away! They were way better than any of the buds I currently have. I could hear subtle spacial separation in the treble tones and the bass is insane! Put these on an listen to “Lo Vas a Olvidar” by Billie Eilish 2:20 and 2:40 at high volume. But, I didn’t buy these for music originally. I bought them for zoom calls, and also aptX codec support. For zoom calls, I was looking for voice isolation from the background noise at my house and I’ve been told that when I switched from my internal mic on my macbook to these, it was immediately quieter. I was also looking for sidetone — and while these don’t have sidetone, they do have a Transparency Mode called “Vocal Mode” that allows hear-through but filters out distracting noise and highlights just voices. The battery life has been fantastic. I have yet to hear a low battery warning. I use them for hours at a time and put them back in the case several times throughout the day. The Jabra’s couldn’t even get through a day. And having wireless charging in the case is a nice feature.Build quality is fantastic for everything.Lowlights are few:* Cannot connect more than one device at a time to the buds. You can have more than one *paired*, but not *connected*. Which can be annoying. They will prefer the previous device they were connected to. If that’s not what you want, you have to manually disconnect from the other device to get them to connect to the other device. Not a big deal.* No native sidetone. But there’s a workaround* Device does not support noise cancellation OR transparency mode when connected in “mono” mode — which is the mode that is used when you make zoom calls and use the microphone (SCO codec). And none of the other touch buttons appear to be functional. I did find a workaround though: If you enable your preferred transparency mode *before* joining the zoom call, then it will remain on during the call until it’s turned off. It’s a modal feature. Hopefully they might change this.

The fit could be better. I don’t know what exactly is wrong, they included so many tips. Every ear is different I guess. At least I’m fairly confident they won’t fall out on me.Noise cancelling: 6.5/10 I don’t know how else to say it.. It is actually pretty darn good. I would rate apple’s similar offering at a 7.5/10. With the top of the line Bose “over the ear” headphones getting maybe a 9.5/10, none of this tech is “perfect”.In the case of these headphones, I think it is just about right. With maybe a little room for improvementSound quality: really good! I would say these are better than most if-not-all of the wireless earbuds I’ve tried (short of the EarPodPro thingies).Charger/Playtime: Awesome, this type of device has come a long way in the last few years.TLDR;Noise cancelling is just 1 step down from the EarPodPros, they include a lot of eartips, and the sound quality is about as good as I need for on-the-go. Good enough for me, still room for improvement.

I’ve always thought battery banks when I’ve thought Anker. I was hesitant at first because of it. Musicians endorsement convinced me to give them a shot and their accolades are well deserved.Sound quality is excellent. Manually setting the EQ to flat in the app gives a nearly flat response. They are far better than the vast majority studio monitors you’ll buy at guitar center. Tonal separation is excellent. Bass response is crisp and tight with excellent tonal response. Turning on ANC gives a slight coloring of the audio signal, but it is slight enough that it is easily overlooked if noticed at all.Active Noise Canceling is good. It could be better. The app has 4 options – transport, indoor, outdoor and custom. I wish there was an earplugs option that shuts everything out, but the options let you pick what gets blocked and what gets through and I expect further firmware updates will improve this area. The tap controls let you change multiple things beyond volume and playback. You can rotate ANC, transparency and normal mode without the app. Normal mode has the best sound quality owning to the active canceling system being disabled. The case is super small. The earbuds snap in magneticly. It supports wireless charging but I’ve never had an issue with battery life. There are an overkill level of earbud sizes. The app has a fit test that is a huge help in getting the fit perfect. This is a great feature, I wish all in ears did this. The earbuds are comfortable. They do work they way out of my ears if I’m more active than just walking or sitting. The wireless connectivity is flawless. I’ve never had to repair or fight with them. The latency on my phone for sync purposes is almost too small to notice. I wish these had aptX LL on them. All in these are the best sounding in ear headphones I have ever heard. Them being wireless with noise canceling at a price point that is cheaper for passive in ears that I bought 15 years ago is just proof that we are living in the future. I’ve bought 3 pairs of these, because like the first gen bose with the string between them I’m worried they are going to subtly make them worse in the future and hope we don’t notice.

These earbuds sound great and overall are great for what i need: conference calls when I’m outside, running/lifting weights and using in the car..Really like the soundcore app for customizing the sound profile. The noise cancelling works decently (not as good a high-end headphones)… I’ve tried it in the car, outside on walks near city streets, in the house, etc. One minor issue w/ noise cancelling: I can’t figure out how to change the noise cancelling profile when I’m on a phone call. That app nor the touch combo on the earbuds seems to allow switching profiles on phone calls. Switching it works fine when I’m just listening to music.Battery seems to last pretty close to what’s spec’ed. Lots of silicon tip sizes are included which is great for finding a good fit. The connectivity range from my iphone is great.Working out (running, weights) – they kept coming loose, falling out: I read all the remedies online, I tried all the different silicon tips that came with it, comply tips (worked better, but still eventually came loose in my ear), spinfit tips (still came loose). Ultimately, i figured out a great (for me) solution that worked w/ the oem silicon tips when I run/workout: I use something very similar to this product on amazon: “Far End Gear BudLoks Earphone Sport Grips for in-Ear and Ear Canal Earbuds”. A while back, I had purchased some different earbuds (phaiser) that came with a bunch of these wingtip shaped things (pictured) that just happen to easily fit the liberty air 2 pros perfectly. Problem solved, they never fall out or come loose now in any kind of workout. The only down-side: I have to take them off (but that’s easy) when i put the earbuds back in the case. But i can live w/ that. Note: they stay in fine w/o the wingtips when I’m sitting or just doing normal walking.

I absolutely love these ear buds! I’ve always been a samsung buds guy because of the fit but the call quality on in-ear buds just doesn’t cut it for me as I use my phone and earbuds for work calls constantly. Saw all the reviews for these and I have been extremely impressed by sound quality and my microphone quality when talking to clients. All it was missing is that wing tip fit that I love on the galaxy buds, but I was able to get a replacement wing tip pack on Amazon for cheap and to my surprise they fit great on the Air 2 Pros straight out the package! Have taken these on a run in the mountains and to the gym, with the wing tips they haven’t moved at all (which I definitely couldn’t say before I bought them) Hope this helps some others out.Edit: also I gave the noise cancelation 3/5 stars, with the wing providing a better seal that rating goes up to 5/5, soundcore listen to the people give us wingtips on the next gen ear buds
